Look at yourself before calling it a sad day
by naveen garg on Jul 22, 2008 10:24 PM  Permalink

It may be a sad day for democracy but certainly not sadder than the day when Left violently suppressed the protest in Nandigram.

Throw the Commies out of our country
by SwordFish on Jul 22, 2008 10:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The only thing that left does is that oppose anything that comes from America and embrace anything that comes from China even if they grab land and wage war. Wonder why Commies keep quiet when the Chinese encroached our country and when they claim Arunachal is their territory.

Ok Guys. I have a proposal. I think if we all kick the but of Mr. Karat, the combined force will be enough for him to reach the escape velocity of Earth. He will be kicked out of the planet and possibly will be rounding around Earth like a satellite. If you have enough kick to his butt, he may be sent out of solar system.

INDIA TAMASHA
by Jay Popat on Jul 22, 2008 10:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Everyone in Parliament looked like jokers. Even if the allegations of bribe are not proved. Those BJP MPs and other who did not vote for such an important matter of india. These people should be made accountable why they dint vote and an explanation from MPs who changed sides and why did they do it... Lets hear people honestly and stick to what they say.

This is Tamasha of highest order. People who are phds and people of india who have worked hard and got themselves education of highest levels in india abroad must feel ashamed that leaders in parliament behaved the way they did.

This is worst of indian leaders ever. If people who are found guilty in this bribe scam. They should not be ever allowed to represent people and should be thrown out of politics of india.

Mr Singh

Do you mean money conscience? ;). How can they be not present. I think MPs who were not present today should be thrown out of parliament unless they were in ICU bed saving their lives.

I am not happy the way things have moved these days, but I am very happy that evil of communism has been gone from the government (at least for the time being).

indeed sad day for communists.. they cud not prevent progress of India
by Dreaming of India on Jul 22, 2008 10:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These communists need to be kicked out of country. They have ruled west bengal for decades and are not ashamed at what they have done to the state. Once world number 1 industries are in sick state.

Communists are anti-progress, anti-development, anti-reforms. They just want everyone to live in misery and have unions to create more chaos in the country.

How long are they going to survive in this country and trying to hinder our growth??

CPIM should not get a single seat in the election
by A Sriv on Jul 22, 2008 10:16 PM  Permalink

I hope people of Bengal and Keral realize not to vote for these traiters again. And nobody should vote for commies. They have done nothing for the country. Having lived in bengal, I am aware of their goons. Nandiram killing exposed them and they just got away because of being in power. No ther part can even open a office in rural bengal even they are cpim workers.

Losing Identity
by kuppam reddy on Jul 22, 2008 10:14 PM  Permalink

The communists have supported earlier the BJP govt long back ,and the National front later on and now the congress. I dont understand why they are supporting the diversified governments ruled by all parties? At some crucial point they withdraw support and put the nation in trouble . If they dont have their own policies how can they sustain as communists? their behaviour is ridiculous.....?

when you see USA and its allies dump bad stuff for our Nuclear needs and make our power per unit very very expensive, these ropgues such as MMS,Sonia,Lallu,Pallu..moolayam....broker amarsingh all will be not in picture and we have to fight with the then govt. Those aam aadhmi who supported the deal now will shed blood from their eyes to foot their power bill.

We will not be limited to the US for supplies; there will be other suppliers; and we will also be developing our Thorium resources. At least we will move ahead at a fast pace with rest of the world.

There is no alternative to nuclear power. We will be done with our coal reserves by 2040. Initially nuclear energy will be expensive but in medium term and long term we will have enough uranium to fire our thorium reactors, which we can not have without the deal.
We have the largest reserves of thorium in the world which can make us much less dependant on nuclear fuel from abroad.
