RE:sad day for CPI-M

There is no alternative to nuclear power. We will be done with our coal reserves by 2040. Initially nuclear energy will be expensive but in medium term and long term we will have enough uranium to fire our thorium reactors, which we can not have without the deal.
We have the largest reserves of thorium in the world which can make us much less dependant on nuclear fuel from abroad.
