Oh. Yeah. I have requested an International Enquiry by UN.
The BJP was truly in a bind. It could not have the UPA win. That would make a Mayawati victory.
Neither could it let UPA win the trust vote. That would ensure UPA as the frontrunners to win the next Lok Sabha polls.
So what could it do?
It didn't make any efforts to stop its suscept members from defecting to the UPA. On the other hand to camouflague this, it enacted a drame. Smuggled a briefcase of one crore ruppes into parliament and enacted a drama - lowering the prestige of the country in the eyes of the world.
The body language of a deepily distraught Advani summed it all - senile as he is, he knew his dreams of Prime Ministership is smashed.
The BJP ended up as bad losers. From claiming it was the front-runner to winning the next elections, it has been reduced to almost to a also ran fo the next elections. The NDA is disintegrating and most of its constituents would very soon consolidate around the UNPA.

And how do you make the brilliant deduction that they are now also-rans for the next elections?
Till the results are out, everybody is running the race.... you seem to be jumping into the future to name a future event in past tense (ran is a past tense if you reckon..)... :-)

If BJP comes to power tomorrow what is that guarantee that these useless MPs who are sold out will not sell the sountry to China or Pakistan or USA. There is no point in voting for BJP with these kind of MPs reprasenting the party. Lets see what BJP will do to these MPs. They may not do anything because the leadership is also same category. In East Bengal govt MPs (communist) are allowing Bangla Deshis to the country and giving then voting right and making them to vote for the communist party and creating all violence. And the Communist party is sold out to another country - CHINA and trying to control INDIA. These are the words told by George Fernadez in Karan Tapar interview - China is the main threat to India than Pakistan and that is through Communist party. So Congress is the party to support for betterment of INDIA than SOLD OUT MP Party BJP and CHINA CONTROLLED Communist party. You will understand if you see in the global perspective. Think and Vote not just blindly believing religion and cast and vote for BJP. Woke up INDIAN.

Mayawati would love to have him in her flock and, madhwa, if you manange to please her (if you see what i mean) then Sky is the limit for your political career! India is already buying nuclear material from France and Russia. But the US companies need this(deal) to be able to be trade .. what is wrong with US companies also being allowed to sell in India? Its time to rationlize Indo-US relationship away from cold war rhetoric.
The Left wanted to use this pretext to gain electoral points, the BJP was caught unawares by maya.. MMS romped home free.
There were many issues the oposittion could have brought up but this was NOT it.

If as the BJP claimed the cross voters were bribed(?).. those who took the bribe are as much ore more to blaim.. They could easily have rejected the bribe, called in the police, or taken the bribe and still voted against..
