Trading of MPs like animals openly on such a large scale is murder of democracy. Earlier this shameful deal was done by PVN Rao openly bribing JMM MPs, incl Sibu Soren bagful of money inside Loksabha, which they deposited in a bank. The culprits, Rao, JMM members, (probably Ajit Singh & party were also bribed, but they were smart not to b caught) got themselves freed on the plea that illegal activities done inside Loksabha cannot b challenged in a court, i.e. it becomes legal. Why this loop hole? But that was on a small scale. Now under Sonia & MMS this has increased to mass scale!
Had real Gandhi been alive, he would hv gone on fast and died, bcz all the murderers (Sibu Soren, Sahabudeen, pappu Yadav etc) and other political leaders like Mulayam, Mayawati, Lalu, Devegouda, Ajit Singh etc would not hv listened to him.
if this deal was is just benefit and benfit only to our nation, why the hell govt didn't discussed it openly? Govt should have dared the opponents to debate in public, may be govt would have falled, but then it would have got sympathy inspite of other issues like inflation.
But this didn't happen. Rtfrom first day, govt tried to hide the facts. India's future need of energy is critical issue. no doubt abt it. But then why govt kept whole deal as a secret?
Who is going to have most benefit? Who is funding horse trading? Like indian corporates, who have influence on New Delhi, so US companies too have on Washington.
History has shown that US never helped INDIA unless and until they have major gain. If this deal was Win-Win siuation, still its ok. But I don't think so. May be we will never come to know about it.

Who cares if there is a benefit for the US, is there benefit to us should be our only yarstick to decide. The deal is being discussed for the last one year, if that is not in public then what is ? where are the BJP getting details of the "Hyde act" and opposing it if the deal is not public and is secret, half knowledgable asses like you are the reason there is confusion, and not because the facts are not out there, just that some peoples politics interferes with their IQ.
1. Sansad main daily hungame maarpeet rishwat se lekar sabkuch still we feel proud we are developing.
2. Apne country ke development ke liye Westren countires par dependent But still we are developing.
3. Daily listen about quality of IITs and IIMs But, still dependent on other countires even for small technology. What abt international politics even not able to manage our country But, we are developing.
4. Har saal hazaron log bhook se mar rahe hain But, we feel proud that we are having cheap mobile calls. Finally, we are developing.
5. Any small countries and even small news can shake our economy But, we are developing.
6. Even now, we lost our culture in last 10 years we adopted very from child sex, gay, to extranmartial affairs and almost increased all types of crime rates. Finally, a big sign of our development.
7. Decide first yours duty toward yours country and then claim any party because, they are doing as we will do if we will be there. Everyone from small to big using his power to be more powerful. Every big fish eats small fish.. We are the same..
We need a big revolution in our country. We should kill all of our politicians and capitalists only then we can feel free and can develop and can have good international image..

Point No. 8 Missing from all these.
8. If all the politician's money deposited in foreign bank is used for the development of the country, certainly India will be a developed contry,, no need to take the help of other country for India's development. Just use the money earned by the Indian politician. But who can do this for the development of the nation? Harish Mamgai

this is shameful act in indian democracy.it is worse than militancy.Behead those immediately who ask for bribes.insah allah their blood is too dirty.i call upon jihad for anti corruption and make india a beautiful place to live in.Mr.advani is an honest leader and india will prosperous under him.
Hahahaa Something i cant understand. Why all people including media(Including Rediff Discussion Board)seems to be fussing too much on this issue as they wont bribe anybody in their life..
a question to all
1.Do u people haven't bribed Traffic PC in ur entire Life?
Or
2.DO u haven't paid Capitation fees for ur kids from KG to Medicine?
3.DO u haven't bribed the Govt.Officials to get Caste Certificiate or to get a Passport or Learner License?
4.Atleast u haven't tried a Black Ticket in ur Life?

I dint justify the bribes given by our honorable Politicians What am try to say is evryone in the country is bribing or misusing their power to sustain their jobs..In the same way Politicians are bribing to hold their posts...
WE all know abt the attitude of Indian Politicians..this is not new.plz don't over react to these kinda nonsenses..Its utter Stupid as if we are thinking of ouir politicans are like Gandhi Or Lal Bahadur Shastri..

your such an illiterate person you don't even know difference between reach and rich you shudn't be commenting on the functioning of the government
New Delhi (PTI) CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat, on Tuesday said display of wads of notes totalling one crore rupees in the well of the Lok Sabha allegedly offered to BJP MPs as bribe money was a "shameful day" in the country's democracy.
Karat told reporters that there were reports of his allies being offered money to either abstain or support the government in the trust vote.
"The members belonging to the Opposition in the Lok Sabha have been approached with money and inducements. They have spared the members of Left parties because they know they can't buy our MPs," said Karat.
"We have the time, date, records," Karat said backing his claim of bribe money allegedly being offered to MPs to bail out the UPA government.

Terming as shameful the alleged bribe offer to three BJP MPs, the CPI said the incident highlighted the notorious role of money power in polity.
"It is very shameful. It is a naked display of money power which has brought unmeasureable disrespect to the democracy," CPI national secretary D Raja, told PTI here.
"This is what the CPI and Left has been warning about the notorious role played by money power in our polity. It is a matter of concern for all political parties," Raja said.
