Poor Maya
by TheOneAndOnly on Jul 19, 2008 08:36 PM  Permalink

Poor Mayawati, If she falls for this Carrots of Naidu,

She will ofcourse create History. But Like Gowda she will become a PM in Minority Govt ONLY for Less than ONE year.

And Later She will NOT even be ABLE to become the Chief Minister of UP.

She Always Suppressed No.2s in her Party.
Now, Once Someone else becomes CM of UP, Her stranglehold on the Party will deminish.

And She may become another ChandraSekhar (xPM).

But Ofcourse After Toppling the Present Govt, A New Govt must be formed So that MOLE and MAINO are immediately kicked out of the Highest Offices of the Sovereign Nation of India.

Poor Advani
by ravi kumar on Jul 19, 2008 08:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Advani has been huffing and puffing to become the PM of India. he has praised Jinnah in order to get a moderate face , only to back track later.

despite his flip flops and somersaults in his statements and policies , the PM's seat seems to be going further away from him.

its now or never for Advani and BJP.

they have to play their cards right if they should ensure mayawati does not come up on top after the confidence vote , or to ensure they are still in the race , during the next Lok sabha elections.

maybe the SAD and Shiv sena should change their tack and support the UPA to keep mayawati at bay.

The Biggest Dilemma of All...........DEMOCRACY
by Shailendra Singh on Jul 19, 2008 08:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sorry to sound Hippocratic but it is the truth. Our political leaders have abused the whole democratic process for their own selfish intent rather than the nation's.
Today we all cry about the political hell created at the center, we are ashamed as educated people to hear that Behenji could be the PM in the making, we dream of charismatic leadership which overthrows all evil......but..we don't care a dime about election day.
The right to abstain from voting is the biggest dilemma of our democracy. The right to vote when we are just 18 years old...still teenagers and just passed Junior College( in most cases)...is a dilemma. The right to ignore the real reason for slums coming up everywhere around us and being included in a voting constituency ,is a dilemma.
The Old saying that as you sow so shall you reap still and will always hold true. Uneducated ,poverty struck, orthodox people will always vote for a behenji in return for that water connection or a ration card or an electric connection or in a majority of cases, a public garden cum playground with some cricket kits, gully tournament sponsorship, public toilet,etc...
They will not talk about new energy solutions and R&D,Minimum wage and Labor reforms, IPC reforms, Reservation based on economic condition and not caste, result oriented municipality and panchayat raj....add whatever else comes to your mind.
My whole point is "go and vote" even if you have that all important meeting scheduled. Select a leader who is accountable

LEFT PM:Mayawati??
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jul 19, 2008 07:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most peoples look to the best and brightest- the most competent their leadership. Indians, sadly, are not among those - being infantile, childlike, petty and corrupt themselves, they seek the same qualities in their leaders, and they've never been disappointed, with very few exceptions.
Everyone knows that the dingbat Mayawati is an infantile, arrogant, egotistical, petty, trumped-up, little tin-pot dictator, who's even more corrupt than the rest of her counterparts, and they are, these paragon of India's secular and democratic values, talking of making her PM - exactly what India needs- another idiot PM.
Heck, all she'll need by her side are such great souls as Lalu Prasad, Gowda, Karat, Bardhan, Yechury et al, and India will attain Super-power status before you can say lickety-split. NOT!

What a combination
by abboral boral on Jul 19, 2008 07:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Our next govt will be formed by all the parties who does not want further development of India ,does not want any kind of economic liberisations .The group will be like this ?
1,Left --They are the representative of facist stallin and mao (who has killed more people than Hitler)and is called left facist
2. BJP-- The rightwing party who only follows religion politics
3.TDP,UNPA --The most opportunistic parties who only wants power by hook or crook
4. BSP-- The most opportunist party in the name of Dalit pattria .Now they have formed mixed govt with all class of people where Dalits will be the leader and other class will sign their shoes .This are all in the name of a sofistacated word social engineering which a hapless poor (who have actually no class)does not understand .The rich dalits will ammased huge money by exploiting the word .Good now we will found richest dalits in nextb 10 years.at the cost of no development in India ,no lights ,no infrastructures ,

Bunch of opportunistics making mockery of democracy!
by surabhi sharma on Jul 19, 2008 07:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It's sad to see our that we have such great options to choose and discuss as our leadership potential like representatives from left parties, SP, BSP and small time regional parties who can't think beyond their respective states and a cabinet position.

Is this the state of democracy? Where are we going?
It seems as they all are playing some game rather than managing a country. They work without ideologies and logics. The only logic known to them is of numbers!

Shame on we Indians that we vote such bunch of jokers to power and lead us!
