y the state if Jammu-Kashmir is itself getting divided wherein muslims are getting plarised in kashmir and hindus in jammu. is it some kind of political ideology which is behind these changes and at one point of time the kashmir will be 'awarded' to our 'friendly' neighbour by keeping jammu intact.
The most significant sentence in this interview: "There should be a limit to appeasement". This UPA is a weak government - we know. If the separatist mind set is still there, consider the possibility of transfering the Valley to Pakistan. The rest Indian can keep as land for the Kashmiri Pandits who have been tortured, raped and killed over the last 60 or 70 years. And also to provide security and facilities for the Amarnath Yatris; proper secure access to Ladakh. Once they join Pakistan, wisdom will dawn upon these Valley separatists. The women in particular will feel the "new slavery". The Punjabis and Pathans will kick the Kashmiris around. We can watch from a safe distance!! Let us cut the cancer cells off our body.
Now what about Javed Akhtar & Shabana? why not the statement from this duo regarding the entire episode? Also why not the Deoband Maulavis issuing any fatwa against Muft Mohammad Syed?

Martin, Yes, pertinent questions. The one-sided imbalance in our public discussions is brought out by your questions. I was amazed that none of the "social activists" who made so much noise about on "some" issues, said anything about the way TASLEEMA NAZREEN was treated in India. Teesta Setalvad had the decency to admit, in passing, that she should have spoken against the way the Kashmiri Pandits were treated. Our "famous" Arundhati Roy, when challenged by her own friends, issued a pathetic statement: "I would want to be known as a writer not a social activist". So, now she tells us. The word HYPOCRACY come to mind. There is cowardice in talking about issues involving Islam and muslims - which, I believe, can be done using moderate language. They go for the easy options. They are NOT neutral.
What would you expect from Mufti Mohammad Saeed? Are you aware that he was the person who bought his daughter's release from militants (if I correctly remember, Rubina) by setting free hardcore terrorists from prison?
Common on, this guy (Mufti) looks like a shrewd and cunning personality ....but is he still alive? I don't have that information. What is his other daughter (Mehbooba) doing in politics?
Sorry, I don't have much info on Kashmir affairs. Have given here my 2 cents, of whatever little info I have.
The struggle in Kashmir is less about freedom but more about aligning with the Pakistan.Kashmiris of Valley undoubtedly have a soft corner for Pakistan, latter being a Islamic state.Struggle of separatists has become increasingly religion specific.From a struggle of Kashmiris for Kashmiri identity ;it has been conveniently transformed into a religious struggle by separatists.This provides easy money and support once the struggle is highlighted as jehad against invading army of a Hindu nation.Islamic identity has taken precedence over the Kashmiri identity as it brings larger support.Mass killing of Kashmiri pandits and recent protests against the Land transfer to Amarnath Shrine board confirms the communalization of the struggle.It doesn't augur well for the struggle and will make the case of Kashmiris weaker in the eyes of ordinary Indians. Left leaning liberals,self proclaimed secularists have predictably maintained silence over these issue.Criticism should not be selective.Heinous acts need to be crticised alike.
Tell me my brother do you think ever that only Hhinu is a singal community that is de-tach from their great relegion why? Please try to understand that we actually need Hitler type Leadership which is full of sprit of Natinalism, honesty, and very dedicated towards goals of really hindu nation. who protect hindu culture, revive, and perserve. establish spirit of proudnees being a hindu like vivekanand did. if you like minded people support me then we can create a new party that will surely bring ravolution in the country. we can pick great people from RSS and other org.. too.

I mentioned Hitler Type- not same as Hitler. I mean to say that spirit of Nationalisum, dedication towards nation growth, proudness being a citizen of Bharat. (Killing people like hitler style i will not allowed in my thinking but aginst anti-element, anti national,anti relegioi will be deal as china does. - Hang them in open so that anti element think twice before act crime.
