The sheer scale of the evil the ISI and the Taliban have perpetrated is mind boggling. No use negotiating with such rabidly fanatical and violent groups.The Free world should just carpet bomb the entire North West Pakistan & Afghanistan belt bordering Pakistan. It is a lawless wasteland ruled by the various Tribal war lords and their gangs who are engaged in the NARCOTICS Trade, Gun Running, Paedophelia & Sodomy and of course propagating Terrorism. The narcotics trade generates millions for these jihadis to buy weapons and propagate their rabid ideologies. The ISI top nrass is also cynically exploiting the situation and making this money. It is the place where 90% of the indoctrination,training and refuge for the terrorist scum of this earth is provided. Karzai in Afghanistan needs all the support including military support from the US, Europe,India, etc to protect other innocent people in Kabul and adjoining areas. Awar has to be fought to the finish to exterminate them
A few examples : 1. The USA list of Human Rights watch : Gujarat, Kashmir, Andhra, Assam etc. will be judged in India, based on these reports. 2. Visa to Modi : Its a non-issue in US, and almost every channel shouts on top of the voice for this issue. Modi doesnt even need to come to US, in this era of video-conferencing. 3. Nuclear Issue : None of the US papers report about "India's credibility lost"..Yet, the Indian Media is going nuts on this issue. Even if this issue gets a passing reference in a major newspaper, it becomes a headling in India. 4. ISI and Pakistan : We all know, the inclination of Pak Army/ISI towards extrimists. There is nothing new. Yet, rediff terms it important enough to show it as a headline. 5. India (Pollution/Global Warming/Development) : All these issues go hand in hand, hence under one title. If USA says, India China are polluting, then our media jumps on the bandwagon..However, the historic pollution levels are always ignored..e.g. US has been polluting @26% per year, since last 100 years..India even today pollutes less than 7% (that too, since last 10 years)..No newspaper highlights these facts.

rediff doesnt represent the whole indian media...it is just a brand of opinion like many other..so just by following the trend of news presentations in rediff we can not give a general appraisal on the modus operandi of indian media...there r many different views floating around too...
besides we should not forget that rediff operates from usa and they must give back..

Yup you are right.. Most Indians blindly ape the West (USA). By doing so, they denigrate themselves and other fellow Indians. I have seen Indians, who dont even want to speak their Mothertongue.. Infact, they will act as if they cant speak any other language than English. Yet when these ppl come to west, they suffer from inferiority complex, bigtime, coz they never had confidence/pride in their own roots, in the first place.
It is a myth that ISI is a Intelligence agency.In reality it is a gang/group of Extremists which is more dangerous than Al-Qaeda.
ISI will never allow Tajiks to control afghanistan and will always support pakhtoons as a result more American soldier are going to die in the months to come.

Sending armed forces to kill taliban and Al Qaeda in the border areas will kill a few people, but new recruits will come from the Pakistani breeding grounds. Actually, there is no difference between those who demand sharia in Kashmir, Britain, or Pakistan and these terrorists. Unless, this blind sharia support group which exists in all Islamic communities is not targetted by education which aims to remove their blind belief that sharia is divine and will create a heavenly society the way God intended it to be, till such time the fight against taliban is just a control and containment move and nothing else. The US should actually change the way the Pakistanis see history, and should put pressure on the Pakistani rulers to change the glorious Islamic version of history in their textbooks and decontaminate young minds with biased Islamic views. In this Pakistani women have to be instigated to revolt against repressive sharia laws. A complete revamp of the education system in Pakistan is needed. Without a new fresh outlook, unless the Prophethood of Muhammad is not questioned repeatedly again and again, this problem will never be solved.
sometimes Uncle Sam comes out as unbelievably stupid. I think it is paying for the idiotic support it gave to pakistan who in the end may be the instrument to ultimately destroy America.
