you are right.this is horrendous.we knew from the very beginning congres' emotional baggage from countries in the north.
CONGRESS HAS DEFIANTLY DUG ITS OWN GRAVE ... FOR THE 1st TIME EVER THEY HAVE LOST THE MAJORITY IN THE UPPER HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT...EVEN IF THE MANAGE TO GET A MAJORITY IN THE LOWER HOUSE...THEY WILL JUST BECOME A LAME GOVERNMENT TRYING TO HANG ON FOR A YEAR...IF THEY DO MANAGE TO LIMP FOR ONE MORE YEAR...THEY WILL BECOME SO WEAK AND USELESS...THAT THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN GET 100 SEATS WHEN THE ELECTIONS ARE HELD IN A YEARS TIME.....WHEN THE ELECTIONS ARE HELD..I CANT SEE ANYONE GETTING A MAJORITY...AND ANOTHER COLLATION IS THE ONLY OPTION....YEARS BACK ONE COULD NOT EVER THINK OF A COMMUNIST AND RIGHT WING COLLATION ..BUT FOR THE 1st TIME EVER IT HAS BECOME VERY POSSIBLE.......CONGRESS HAVE LOST A VERY FAVOURABLE ALLY IN THE COMMUNISTS.... Fair enough. Did Vajpayee take the permission of people of India before blasting the bomb in Pokhran II. No he did. It resulted in significant consequences for the nation such as trade and nuclear embargos.
While the trade embargos were soon lifted, the NSG was constituted by the US as a reaction to Pokhran II. After NSG was established, spares and uranium fuel was denied to India and even friendly countries like Russia and France were dissuaded not to supply these to us.
So if Vajpayee can take a momentous decision that have long term consequence for India without consulting Indians, then why cannot MMS.
Besides, if not for Pokhran II, we need not even sign this current deal with the US. So if one wants to blame the deal as anti-national, blame Vajpayee and the NDA government first.

Although I don't see anything good about the Chinese agents, the questions are valid;these questions were raised previously also in various forums like in rediff.com too. Nevertheless, the slave party never had a straighforward reply. With the tremedous potential we have in the fields of hydel and tydal power, we must rather exploit them and not succumb to the pressure of US, NSG or IAEA. There must be a different motive of MMS/Sonia combo. It's impossible that they don't understand or know how far we are going to lose our sovereign rights but do these people care? Congress has since independence done more damage than any good for this country. Wish the UPA government falls;this is vice administration with SIMI supporter Maulana MS Yadav.

All the safeguards documents countries have signed with IAEA are available in the public in IAEA website. Now this is the something that the Government of India tells her citizens that it can divulge the details of the agreement to anybody not party to the government. So whose government is it? Are not the citizens of India party to the Government of India? We are being taught a new lesson of political science.
