Nuclear Deal - Not the best bargain deal
by nuthan adalagerenemirajaiah on Jul 04, 2008 10:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am not supporting any party here.We require Nuclear power , to get this we need to sign joint ventures, but it must fetch in returns. After going through the some of the publicly available documents on Nuclear deal. This is not the best bargain India would have had. India would have put some more class and other advantages from USA, and one more is while signing/promising the agreement with was Deal, Govt has not taken scientific community in India to picture. Do not think our scientific community is not strong, they are strong, due to our to much hierarchical structure they can't show up. If u give them little freedom. they will show there colors. Take what is happening in IT sector by same scientific community they are contributing in big way.
In total, government has hurried in taking the Nuclear deal issue

THESE PAKI AND MUSLIM TERRORISTS OF THE WORLD.
by John Pillai on Jul 04, 2008 10:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Disgraced scientist AQ Khan has said that Pakistan transported nuclear material to North Korea with the full knowledge of President Musharraf.

He told the Associated Press news agency that the army supervised a flight of centrifuges in 2000.

At the time Mr Musharraf was head of the army.

Dr Khan said that uranium enrichment equipment was sent in a North Korean plane loaded under the supervision of Pakistani security officials.

Dr Khan's latest claims contradict a public confession he made in 2004 that he was solely responsible for exporting nuclear technology to Iran, North Korea and Libya.

LOL
the technology that Khan gave to North Korea!!!
Has anyone ever proven that centrifuge can make weapon grade uranium?
And US all along has been giving billions to Pakistan inspite ot Pakistan giving nuclear technology to Iran, North Korea, Lybia- does it fit into the picture of US goal of non-proliferation? Something does not add up.

let me guess- Pakistan is selling lemons to these countries, Neither Pakistan nor these countries have nucleae capability.

by unni krishnan nair on Jul 04, 2008 10:12 PM  Permalink

Yeah India needs Nuclear Power. No doubt about. But right now the Inflation is at around 12%. The PM is not concerned about that, the FM thinks it is not something to be bothered. Common man, not the high flying IT professionals and businessmen, find their life miserable. Nobody is concerned about that.

MMS is in a hurry to leave his footprints.
Last time when he was the FM we had the biggest scandal of Harshad Mehta while he was harping on the fundamentals of the Economy being strong. Hope this time around he has his fundas right.

Where are they?
by nandu rajurikar on Jul 04, 2008 10:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

They said Manmohan Singh is a puppet Prime Minister. (They means Advani & his howling brigade).

They said MMS is Sonia's slave. (They means Advani & his howling brigade).

They said MMS is spineless. (They means Advani & his howling brigade).

Where are they? (Advani & his howling brigade). What do they have to say now?

They will be hand in gloves with the Left parties during the Confidence Motion. They will be standing on the Left side rubbing shoulders with the Communists. They will shout the same slogans raised by Marxists!

Let's look into History. VP Singh's Govt with Marxist Miniters was supported by BJP from "outside". Will BJP have any objection to join Communists overtly or covertly?

No! Not at all!! Never!!!

If Advani can praise Jinnah for change of image, he can as well sing praise for Marx & Lenin!

Now Sonia & MMS will compel BJP to shake hands with Marxists!

Left parties are number one opportunists
by mallaiah anchoori on Jul 04, 2008 09:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why these repeated ultimatums by the left?if they have guts, let them do it.Repetition of such threats will only expose their mind of not being certain on the propriety of what they intend to do.Why should they wait for a formal letter from the govt of its stnd?It becomes widely known & conspicious when the govt signs the deal.No secrecy is involved in that. What were they doing all these 3 years when Dr singh,in principle, nodded his head for the deal?If they felt that the deal would be ininmical to national interests, they need not have waited for such long to pull the carpet.Despite making very loud sounds about the national interests which they never consider factually, they hardly know the pulse of the people which is"for" the deal.Oblivious to the fact that USA & China are on trade pacts keeping their ideological differences of capitalism & communism respectively, since long, they still feel that they are the only champions to follow the foot prints of Mao and hence should oppose the deal with USA.Let them not be under the illusion that people would appreciate & vote for them if they make this as an election plank;on the contrary,it may have a negative effect even in their own citadel of West Bengal, their vote bank.By saying that they can not be"opportunistic on policy" issues, they are indirectly hinting to join hands with BJP with different ideology and policy against their own avowed acclaimation of being diagnally opposed to fundamentalism. Is it not opportunism on policy?
