I was attaracted to Indian POLITICS to see who will win GUJARAT back in NOVEMBER, than came KARNATAKA and GOVDA'S UNETHICAL MOVE- HE THOUGHT
KARNATAKA IS IN HIS POCKET- NOW INDIAN RED'S- EXPOSING THEIR VISION OF INDIA- THEY PREFER TO BE BRING INDIA TO DAYS OF BULL CARTS AND MANUAL LABOR- ANTI PROGRESS- ANTI HINDU, ANTI AMERICA
WHERE IS THEIR PRO-STAND IN ALL THIS???

AND COUNTING "SECULAR" VOTES WILL NOT MAKE ANY PARTY NATIONAL PARTY- BY OPPOSING "COMMUNAL".AT LEAST LEARN FROM- MAYAWATI- SHE FIGUREDOUT NOT BY BEING IN LIME LIGHT BUT TOUCHING PULSE OF INDIA- IF ANY PARY WILL RISE IN INDIA - IT WILL HAVE TO BE SENSITIVE TO LISTEN TO THE REAL -LIVING INDIA READ IT'S PULSE- AND NOT BY SLOGANS- CALLED "SECULAR", "COMMUNAL" ETC.- WON'T BRING ANY VOTE DEAR. THOSE DAYS ARE GONE

by USamanta on Jul 05, 2008 04:52 AM  Permalink

UPA Govt formation and SP-support were Impossible 4 years before in 2004.
Only Communsits played dirty game those days and nights to support Congress Govt and UPA formation.
In the meantime Communists also cleaned many dirts of Sonia and Congress in 4 years.
Now Communists are getting Big SLAPS from Congress and other UPA.
THis is what they deserved ! Karat you are really great, and get few more slaps.

All UPA bunch and REDs are most communal.
To appease terrorists' community is secular and to oppose them is communal according to those
Pseudos.

I am not a supporter of any political party or a subscriber to any dogmatic ideology.

However, it begs the question as to why any party that believes in upholding our thousands of years old culture and customs should be stigmatized as communal. There is nothing wrong with the idea of Hindutva.

After all, didn't the Muslims partition India claiming they are a different culture and race and that they could not coexist with Hindus. Never mind the fact that they could easily coexist for over 800 years when they were the rulers.

Why are the leftists who claim to be secluar speak up against the racist, communal and divisive priciple behind the partition?

If Muslims were justified in partitioning the country to "preserve" their culture, why shouldn't the Hindus have the same rights? We can be secular but at the same time be proud of our heritage and culture and have every right to promote and practice our culture in our own native country.

Also, where were the pseudo secularist leftists when Owais Akbaruddin attacked Taslima Nasreen and declared he is a Muslim and not an Indian? Did the leftists rise up to condemn his communal and anti-secular behavior?

Have a national debate.
by Falcon on Jul 04, 2008 05:41 PM  Permalink

Frankly i have no idea why the left is opposing and the rest are in favor of the deal. let us have a national debate on the issue with all parties putting their view in the open rather than having secret parleys and completely politicizing the issue.

Commies and the Samajawadi Party
by Gopalalaswamy Shashikala on Jul 04, 2008 04:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It seems BJP has become the whipping boy of Indian politics of late. Take case of SP and congress eating into each others hands of late in spite of bitter hatred for each other for 10 years and shameless way they are trying to come together. It is abundantly clear that both have miserably failed on their own in UP and bound to be routed in the coming elections by Mayavathi. It may in their mutual interest and politically prudent to fight together to at least salvage some gains. But the reason being given is to fight so called communal BJP.

Well the same goes for the commies. Being part of the UPA and for all their failures to stop the nuclear deal or control the inflation they now want to ditch the government to please their Chinese masters.

Again the only factor they can think opposing is the so called communal BJP.

I do not think our politicians or politics had never stooped to such a low level any time in the past sixty years. Shame on you and at times we common public feel ashamed that we belong to this country with such politicians

Contemporary muslim, even the semi-literate one, is far more enlightened than his predecessor. He is no more taken by the pseudoseculars of any variety, communist, socialist, bahujanist or panjawalla. He knows where his interest lies, and so he is using these pseudoseculars, and not vice-versa. To him BJP never was an anethma. Not even RSS. It was VHP and the ilk, the foolish diehard so-called hindus.

by atanu on Jul 04, 2008 04:34 PM  Permalink

It seems that CPIM bosses are now discussing deadlines through media. So emotionally they are already out of the stage. Just see their level of communication with conmgress bosses, they never gel with each other. why then this fuss?
