Ram is great and without any Puja or strike, we can see that this project is not going to materialise. God will not allow it. If central govt ignores the emotion of majority, definitely, their govt will fall even.
Hello Rehana, I wonder how many Muslims like you are there, who profess to accepting that Sri Ram is their heritage too. Why are the religious leaders of your comunity silent on this? If only they would come out in the open like you and be proud of their heritage, India would be a very progressive country.

After reading various reports on Sethusamudram project and the present rediff news, it is clear that this project is not so helpful as projected. It must be helpful to DMK so that they can easily intereact with LTTE terrorists, who are a favorite of DMK and Karunanidhi. The disclosure by the Naval chief clearly shows that this will helpful to small ships, that means LTTE terrorists can easily reach TN costs in small ships. That is the hidden agenda of Karunanidhi and DMK and so called supporters of this controversial project. DMK is aiming to goals: One is easy contacts with LTTE and the other is hurt the sentiments of hindus. Central Govt should drop this project ignoring the arguments of DMK. Congress should remember, LTTE has murdered Rajiv Gandhi and DMK is supporting the same LTTE.

When such dastardly acts are proven to have been perpetrated by Rama, the Brahmin leaders declare : "My Rama (god Rama) is not the Rama of Ramayana". So each Brahmin has his own Aryan god Rama, which does not exist in any text !

the project is viable so that DMK can get its bribes, assist LTTE in their smuggling ops, and moreover for the ATHEIST DMK an opportunity to denigrate Ram & Hindus--now they will say the Naval chief is a HINDI fanatic!!!
Now atleast we should realise that there should be a vote of majority people opinion that the present state of keeping the Rama sethu at its own form. The vote bank politicians will atleast keep their mouth shut and atleast know the Dharma along with Idealism shown by Rama.
How can the project be viable if only small ships can use the canal and international big carriers will keep out. Volume of trade handled by Indian small ships between east and west coasts is small and is dwindling; and forecast is also for lower traffic. If the chief strikes a discordant note, Karunanidhi will demand his dismissal. So he has become diplomatic and talks with two voices.
