China did not borrow money from outside country. India borrowed money for which Nation stood as security while the borrowed money 99% went in to the pockets of leaders. Not used for developments. Secondly there is no system laid down to get returns on investment done by Government. Figures in Crores Rupees spent are declared but what work worth was done never declared by govt. Hypocracy is the base of our leaders. Common man gets carried away by eyewash. No healthy system existing to check on the positive usage of funds and arrest corruption.
and not efficient enough like Chinese Politicians. Currently we have politicians starting from our PM FIT FOR NOTHING...........Only they know to bow their heads in front of sonia

China's economy was booming during the U.S president Clinton's visit. Also it was said for India, it will take 12 years to reach China's speedy advance in economy race.

China have been developing for last so many years ..consuming all the natural resources when they were cheaper ..look at the prices now ... for past 2 years prices of copper , plastic , iron have almost gone double..they did so much development constructing the worlds second largest highway net work when the prices were cheap.. they still havent stopped and constructing more and more ..When our stupid leaders will wake up ???? the time they wake up the prices will become 4 times as of now ..How many ports do we have?? Mumbai, Gujarat,chennai,vizag .. west bengal port is already lost ..look at china ..just one south city of south china shenzhen have 6 ports ..it takes 10 times more time to offload and upload cargos in our port compared to HK ..i guess we already missed out the best time for imporving infrastructure and if we dont act now ..god save India

Well the growth of India is tightly coupled with the growth of western economies. Although China too depends on the western economies, it has emerged as a major international force not only in the west but also in Africa where they have invested billions. So comparing India to China is injustice to India because we are nowhere near them.

before the invasion of any outsider, Indian science was at its best and we still have all those treasures, the only thing is..we have to bring them out implement them again.
There r many more things which I took into cosideration but I do not want to go that deep.
China is growing growing and growing day by day, we Indians always compare & compete with china....but we are no where near to china, we have to pass miles of miles to reach at where china is today, in short we are 50 years back to china in Growth, Infrastructure & Poverty..We indians just know how to fight with each other on religion, caste, god, politics, hindu-muslim like doggs, but look at these chinese they are not concern with anything like that, they are just concerned to money, growth and being sucessful, their mind is peaceful...they are satisfied with govt., even though its communist a common ppl will never indulge in politics like how we indians do and run like doggs behind rahul gandhi, modi, advani and many politicians....china ppl has less education then indians but they knw what is discipline against law and other things..in china you can find a lady conductor in local bus due to males respect females and give them same grade as males are and this is impossible in india due to our stupid traditions and our dirty brains....we will never never never be sucessful and that is for sure...u can even see a mayor of city in china is shot dead immediately by judiciary if he is caught for taking bribe but in india a case will run for 10 years and anyone can get bail on base of support of any minister this is impossible in China...I love my country india but i m sad to be indian.....

Shri Shyam, tell something about beggars on the chinese streets. They, many times, physically stop people and extract money. Do not make mistake. All those wide roads, flyovers, elantra cars as taxis, KFCs, walmarts, Mc Donalds are not the real thing we need. I agree, India is not peaceful now. We are all responsible for it. Let us strive to change it. No need to lement at the state of affairs. Let us all work together to reform our society

my dear prabhakaran i never mentioned for mc donalds, kfc etc etc even i dont think thats a part of being sucessful, india has lot of beggers compared to china and its a realty of life even in USA you can find beggers, we cannot compare with that......just take pay per day of a poor worker in china who is earning by doing hard work, he can easily earn 15-20$ a day and in case of india a worker can earn maximum 5$ if his luck is good....thats where we can compare the growth...we can work together and make difference but its difficult to fight with our system and change them, future is in hands of our politicians and not in our hands that is for sure, as much as we shout, hue & cry a common man cannot change anything, this is realty of india, giving big speeches wont change anything....common man is screwed and it will continue in future untill we dont have honest goverment !!!

Common man can not change anything! He does not want to change. We all expect the government to do our work. We throw garbage to the streets and we expect the government agencies to clear it!!!
I am working in china for last 2 years..I have travelled almost all of China and I am amazed at their growth everywhere .99% of chinese are atheist with no religion or belief..Then i wonder that one of the major reason for we (Indians )to be lacking behind is because we have GOD..If we also had no religion or GOD we would have been more successful,happy and safe??is God one of the major reason for all our chaoas..??

Interesting observation. God and faith are important. It's hope that provides breakthroughs in the world and Faith is hope inside out. If the question is people vs country building, I'd go for people. I think India has got it right. There is no valid comparision between India and China. Both countries started differently (China was always a much bigger economy) and are at different growth trajectories. Because of people development (not meaning unversity education) and diversity, India will have chances of greater number of boom times going forward.
The crux of the matter is religious fanaticism, not religion per se. Pakistan, one religion and killings in the name of religious intolerance. In the modern world, they cannot accept women to be seen. We need not be ashamed of our body or skin. Let us live & let live. China is a good example now.

I have expressed similar sentiments many times. Pakistan runs to China at the drop of a hat. I find it ironical. A religious fanatic country, arm in arm with an atheist communist country. Only agenda, playing China against us.
We are emotional, hardly practical. We are negative. Chinese have become the opposite, very practical. They make friends out of enemies, we the opposite. Our politicias play one religion against another to survive, in China politics hardly play a part in daily life.
China is the most secure country for any large spectacle as terrorists will be beaten to pulp, while we cannot agree on anything. They can host Olympics, Tennis Masters, F1, you name it they have it. We have wheels within wheels. We are our worst enemy.
I always have question.. If China is growing so fast, their economy is eating up the resources and the development is deep inside the sections, the average income is double of India. Dollar is cheaper for chinese as compared to Indians.
If income level is better, infrastructure and development is thumbs-up, Why the hell, chinese people still look towards US for migration?
Is All this positive indicators are so anulled with communist regime? If so, can we call it real upliftment? When people are looking elsewhere to settle, whats the us eof calling the things as development?

As if Indians do not line up to even get USA visa, believe me truth is always bitter. Even, if you ask 100 Indians that do they want to migrate to USA, the answer would be why not move in today. India is so f@cked up that not even Indians like it. So China is in my better position the only problem is Democracy.
