Bhayya MLAs have started demanding that Hindi should replace marathi in BMC.. Hindi/Urdu has already displaced Bengali in Calcutta, Telugu in Hyderabad, Punjabi in Chandigarh Kannada in Bangalore, Gujrati in Ahmedabad... wake up guys before Hindi/Urdu destroys all local cultures and languages.
Bhayyaz have imposed Hindi after breeding like rabbits and are now terming anyone who opposes Hindi as anti national.
All languages like Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu are being sidelined and Hindi is being promoted.

Majority of south did not want the Knowledge transfer of Hindi from North and rejected it.
More media talks about Raj. More Raj is becoming powerful like bal thakarey. Raj's purpose is being accomplished. He wants to destroy shiv sena, Udhave thakarey. And he has succeeded in convincing marathi people that he is the one who care about culture not Udhav. What a tragedy for marathi culture. Is it so weak that it is scared of hindi speaking, north indian would destroy it ? Raj must be a talking to people who are full of inferiority complex or why should any one listen to him. he is a cheap neta thats all. Why should media report everything he says and give him unnecessay publicity ?

the govt should hang/shhot people like raj in public .. just for his selfish needs he is creating disturbance in the country ..we are indians .. weather it is mumbai/delhi or any other place ... the govt /supreme court should not tolearte this kind of nonsense ..
The outsider debate is an old one. IK Gujral's wife once commented in a social gathering "Delhi was a cultural village when we came to settle. Lahore was the Paris of east" to which an old timer Delhite commented "If you didnt find culture in the city of Ghalib and Auliya you should have gone to Paris." The lady made hasty retreat from the party. Old timers Delhites have always regretted loss of Delhi culture to mean Punjabis. The Gorkhas couldnt digest Bengalis. There was agitation in Assam against Biharis. Then why does everyone blames Maharashtrians alone? Fact is Marathis are original people of Mumbai. 100% of them live here. But from other states only the more educated ones land in Mumbai get jobs and then comment Marathis are good only for mean jobs. How many people back in your village do these mean jobs? (if these jobs at all exist). Does nobody in your village sell fish? Ofcourse they cant be gutter cleaners because there are perhaps no gutters in your village and everyone uses fields

1. We are all indians and the constitution gives us right to live anywhere in India including Mumbai. No Thackrey can deny that to me.
2. Yes... if I live in Mumbai or Bangalore or Delhi ... I should always respect the local culture, local people and infact learning a new language or new culture will help me. Rather than being a Bihari in Mumbai I'd like to be one of the Mubaites.

If the local fisherman does not sell fish what will you eat? Rather than calling it a mean job you should be thankful to all those who are providing a service to you... be it the machhi gay, gutter cleaner, dhobi or maid servant. You should thank them for making your life easy.
4. At times for the sake of regional pride, we forget what Indian culture is... "Atithi Devo Bhava". It does not harm to have two additonal languages (English and Hindi) on sign boards or busses. A person coming from another region can not learn the local language in oneday. And believe me the economy of the city will crash without migratnts from outside. They pay tax, work for local factories etc. Rather than harassing them, you should put guidelines for local industries.
Somehow people are becoming less and less tolerant. This is sad... if I am an outsider in my own country what can I expect abroad...
Any people who are Hindustani can move any part of Hindustan. These kinds of people like Raj Thackeray will never get success. I am pretty sure some day he will file a case against his siblings by saying that this is my parents only and all of yours. because one who cannot be honest with ones country, can%u2019t be trusted anyhow. All the people who are from India, they all are same. They construct new India with new recognition and power.
People from various parts of the country playing major role in developing India, and we should appreciate all of them.
And the day we stop saying he is north Indian or south Indian or something. That will be biggest achievement for all the Indians.
I always call myself as an Indian. And request all of friends. So please if you can, go ahead and create an India with no racism.
Does Marathi people on this board wants to have a seperate state called Marathastan? The reasoning they give to support Raj is ridiculous. Firstly by N Indian they mean UP and Biharis, which is not true (they are central regions). Secondly, people of India, be it from UP, Bihar, Andaman or even any gali of maharashtra is free to go and work in any part of country. UP Biharis work in Delhi also. Why shouldn't we kick them out calling them "South Indians". Becos we know its against our Indianness and also we dont have shiv sena/MNS. Porkis on this board laugh at such remarks from marathis on this board. This is sth found nowhere in the world(except in former USSR)

Sorry buddy. Raj destroyed all your greatness. You have an imature mind to realize whether you benefitted out of this issue. You want to get yourself the status of TN? then you are moving in a wrong direction. North Indians have their own language. Punjabi, Hryanivi, bhojpuri and MANY others. Still they dont cry about their language and culture. They dont ask you to learn their language. You are an Indian but dont know that Hindi IS NOT A NORTH INDIAN LANG. SO STOP CRYING THAT WE FORCE 'OUR' LANGUAGE ON YOU. Moreover, if you dont want to learn Hindi, dont learn and patronise Marathi. Atleast TN doesnt chase people away like your leader and their goondas did

I had heard about problem of North Indians in TN. Apart from the language problem (since I don't speak tamil) I did not find any other problem. I could still manage with english and a little hindi.
The fact is hindi was being forced during 70s and 80s (correct me if I am wrong). Rather than forcing people to learn a new language, if you can explain the benefits, most of the people will learn the language. Most of my tamil friends speak good hindi... though I could not learn much tamil.
TN is far better than what Thackreys have in plan for Mumbai. Save Mumbai ...

Your goondas attacked people who were just everyday workers and has nothing to do with your bldy culture or anyone else. Someday you will be working outside Maharashtra and be driven out like that. MUMBAI: Twenty people hired as audience for a television reality show allegedly ransacked the studio and smashed window panes of some cars, including that of actress Pallavi Joshi, when they were asked to leave the premises.
The actress was busy with the shoot inside the studio when the incident happened at around 2130 hours on Tuesday night, police said.
Seven of the hired audience were arrested, they said adding efforts were on to nab the rest.

yeah people like yena.spoil this country.the punjab regiment will only save punjabi next time and allow mumbai to burn..if u talk like this with goondagardi no company will invest in mumbai.and there will create another mumbai some where else..anyhow mnc are investing more in noida,gurgaon,bangalore..mumbai is loosing because of these talks
