India has the right to do whatever it feels is necessary to protect her people. Remember we are not the ones who sponsor terrorist to run across the border and kill innocent people. If Pakistan thinks we doing this to compete. Well I got news for them. We are so far ahead of you guys that if yo ever decide to act funny with us make sure you have reservations with your maker. Maybe first Pakistan should consider it state of internal security before they plan to make outrageous statements like that. Pakistan's apprehension is understandable. Pakistan cannot digest any development of India and I think these developments bring anger in them. Which results in more state sponsored terrorism acts in India.

Well, we should also check the reality.
IRAQ--- No weapons of mass destruction & no delivery capabilty. Therefore it never posed any risk for USA to go for an attack there.
Continuing with the same ideology, they didnt attack North Korea, because North Korea had nuclear weapons and it was a threat for Japan a country USA protects.
Pakistan is a country with both weapons of Mass destruction and delievery system to reach deep in India. Also consider this fact, which other country in the world can be as STUPID as Pakistan to actually do it, I wouldnt think of long list other than North Korea or may be IRAN.
Therefore its totally wrong to say that India is a soft state, but its the ground reality which makes those decisions which USA took against IRAQ almost impossible for India.
Everytime India test a missile, Pakistan say that there will be a arms race in the sub-continent. Where is the arms race? Does Pakistan have any arms to have a race with India? :):)
Congratulations to Indian Army Planners for keeping pace with newer technologies and keep only the US, Europe and China in mind. frankly Pakistan is a small entity to be targeted. they will be be cause of their own death and India does not need to plot anything special for it. Yes, India should keep doing such test and provoke pakistan to make pakistan concentrate on only trying to match India's capabilities and not spend money on useful stuff like school's, hospitals, infrastructure, etc.
When India did Pokhran 1. Pakistan - Hum ghaaas khayenge paar atomic bum jaroor banayenge. When India tested K 15 . Pakistan - Hum gobar khayenge ( saaari ghaas atomic bum ke time khatam ho gayi) pur K -16 test karenge.
