Bro Paul Dinakaran
by ananth on Feb 20, 2008 02:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A true christian. His prayer meetings revealed the devotion and attachment he had for Jesus. Although he suffered a personal tragedy, when he lost his daughter in an accident, he continued to pray for the humanity. He was a good human being. May his soul rest in peace.

My friend is an event-organizer. Once I accompanied him to an "evangelization" meeting at the end to collect his fees.

What an atmosphere it was! People were weeping! "We sinned! Jesus died for us!"

After the meeting, we were walking out and a group of girls and ladies were talking to each other!

One said, "Gracy was weeping continuously!"

Another said, "No, it was Mary who wept the most!"

As though, it was a weeping competition!

Only God can save them from Christianity!

Hi Dheeraj,

I comprehend your emotions, but am also put off by your understanding. Are you trying to say that the entire people who were weeping there were actually not emotionally moved but were participating in a "natak"?

As in any religion, emotion plays a huge role in ones spiritual journey in Christanity. For a few (given that I believe you) weeping would have been a competition. But alas, like any bigot around the world, you conveniently paint the entire community in the same colour. Shame!

Hi Ananth,

I think you got it slightly wrong. Mr. Paul Dinakaran is DGS Dinakaran' son. I sincerely hope he is alive. DGS Dinakaran has died. I hope it was typo on your part.

Peace.

But I thought Christians don't believe in rebirth or reincarnation.

I thought everyone waits for the Judgement Day!

By the way, is the date for Judgement Day fixed?

Rags to riches
by Akram on Feb 20, 2008 02:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

in comtemproary world there are two quick ways to make money. one is politics and other is religon.

Dinakaran had prudently utilized the second option to rise to ranks of riches from rags. a year back he brought a big property worth crores near beach from a prominet business group.

he is leaving back a comfortable and rich life for his future generations.

"Jesus Calls" building opposite Beach railway station?

I wonder why they need such buildings in a posh commercial locality!

Jesus calls is a commercial venture. every year he and his family will be given a target of converting people to christianity. The building was an incentive for achieving the target last year in AP with the blessings of YSR.

Soon the entire coastal AP and Royal seema region will be Christian majority areas for sure.

Rediff should thnk about stopping "user Comments" else bastaaa%%ds like Dheeraj wont be idle.

Hey mF Dheeraj, stop abusing Religion here. I am Hindu, but I respect all religions and I respect this country. MF's like you ruin the name of this country and make other fellow Hindu's convert to other Religions.

Anyhow Dhinakaran was not Sober. He made money in the name of religion. Why should somebody pay him to get prayers? But in that case what our temples does is also same. We need to pay money to get best prayers. So the problem lies somewhere else, not in Hinduism, Christianity or Islam...

Regards
Avijendran
