Why we are taking about Raj .. where are all people when 14 UP and Bihari's killed in Manipur?Root cause is UP and Bihari Govt. Why they can't bring education and Jobs in their states.Why UP , Biharis are not moving to South Metro Cities ? Why Tamil politicians are not ready to accept Rajanikanth as CM? Why in Maharashtra local candidates are not getting jobs ? All politicians are saying Raj is dividing country. BJP forget about GODHRA ? BABARI Masjid ? Bombay was the only port city in the western region of ancient Bharat. It was, therefore, only natural that it attracted more economic investment. Also because Maharasthra produced more national leaders in the main-stream politics, who true to the precedents being set by the national politicians, were more regionalists than nationalists. Hence, they were able to influence economic decisions in favour of the state or rather one city at the cost of development elsewhere in India. Now that it has gobbled up all benefits from a protected economy, Maharashtra cannot absolve itself from the responsibility of sharing its economic prosperity with other regions of India. Besides Mumbai being the economic capital of India needs to surge ahead to remain competitive with other developed and growing economies of the world. As such, it needs to attract skills of international standard rather than restricting itself to marathi speakers. While I am vehmently against destroying the Marathi language or the indigenous Marathi culture, efforts should be made to integrate itself with other cultures and volunteer to make the less fortunate regions and states of the country to replicate its success by promoting sustainable economic model. This is what Raj Thackrey should be doing rather than forcing people to fee. A man of over 500 crore worth (this is the impression most of the websites give about him), what has he done to contribute to the economic growth of his country, his state Maharast

Please don't ask what Raj has done for his "so called" brotheren Maharashtrians!!! Lip service. That's all he is doing and that's more than enough for the "sons of the soil". The day is not too far that Bal Thackeray's goondas and Raj Thackeray's goondas fight each other in the name of Marathi people and they themselves will destroy the Maharashtrian culture.
Why North Indians come only to Mumbai, Dont they have any job opportunities in North. Why politicians are not developing UP, Bihar, Delhi and creating vacancies. If the persons from the North are given jobs in North only, why they will live their own soil. Nobody likes to stay away from his home. Instead of targeting and blaming each other, why they are not taking any steps. The crime in the capital is at higher level, now its going up in Maharashtra also. Whenever crime happens, mostly the persons are from north only. Even the 70-80% of revenue generated is from Maharashtra only, then why the development of Maharashtra is so slow.

i think you are mistaken.............first of all its peoplelike Hiranandani,,,,,who made beautiful structure like Powai .........who they are North Indian only........Major contributor of Revenue in Mumbai ,,,Reliance & Tata and all other IT Industry here also no Maharashtrain Brain in formation.....chairman of IIT Bombay a north Indian.......Now talking about the contribution of Maharashtrian 1)shivsena made an attempt to make maharashtra free from south Indian he failed but created violence causing lot of money loss 2)Shivsena bandh causing 1000 crore loss in a day 3)shivsena has big hand in 1992 riots in Mumbai 4)shivsena and MNS now together making a threat to National Integrity 5)all in world look forward for globalization they are looking forward toward Localiztion

My dear friend, I think you are the one who is mistaken here.
Hiranandani is a builder who has built some complexes in mumbai. Whats so great about him? If not him somebody else would have built structures in powai.Reliance & Tata have industries all over india so don't give their examples.I don't know what u want to suggest by IIT chairman.
If you want to suggest that Mumbai, maharasthtra and everything has been developed by non maharashtians then I would suggest them to go and develop UP and Bihar too. Who has stopped them?

Raj is very clever man. You know why!! He wants other states to be like Maharashatra/Mumbai. So he thinks, only way other states like Bihar can be developed, moving the investment which is coming to Mumbai to Bihar or else where other than Mumbai.
This is an opportunity for other regions to grow. Grow India!! Slow down Bombay for the sake rest of India!!
