In India Media and Prostitution are two dirtiest businesses. All Private media channels should be banned immediately. Doordarshan is 100times sensible

Absolutely well said Ajay!
These media people especially the electonic media like Aaj Tak,Sahara,Star News etc are 'creating' news in the way they want it and telecasting them. No morality being displayed by them. Prostitutes must be better than them.

Law and order
by arungopal agarwal on Feb 07, 2008 05:29 PM  Permalink

Govt. at Centre is at fault that after 60 years of independence, civil sense is not taught properly to the people. Our country therefore have everything except discipline. One can see indisciplined people in all political parties fighting like cats and dogs.

North Indians take pride in violating law: Delhi Lt Governor
by swami pudipeddi on Feb 07, 2008 05:27 PM  Permalink

The Law enforcement agencies themselves have a pride in violating law. For example wearing a helmet by twowheeler driver is a must as per the provisions of the MVAct and in some places it is enforced very strictly by imposing fine on violaters. So also not fastening seat belts by the front seat occupants of a four wheeler. I find lot of politicians sitting in the front seat do not fasten the seat belt. Occupants of the front seat in The police vehicles also do not comply. The polic who ride two wheelers do not wear helmets of ISI Mark and some do not wear any helmet. In the court premises even in Supreme Court premises one can find several people smoke in the corridors of Court rooms. Mostly Advocates, Court staff take pride in violating the law. Travellers in trains consume alcohol and resort to playing cards, smoking even in A/C Compartments. Complaints to Railways do not yeild any result. Why do not Rlys. put CC Cameras in each bay and watch the activities of the passengers and detrain those who violate the law or cause disturbance to other passengers?

Hindi is most spoken and understood in certain parts of India. Elsewhere, its English. I say it as I see it. If it weren't for English language, we would not be able to gain a foothold in the world economy.

And after seeing countless North Indians, I have concluded that despite learning English, they are unable to leave behind the rustic and boorish tendencies ingrained in Hindi.

High level thugs come from North!!
by Navin T on Feb 07, 2008 05:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

As a general rule farther you go from Mumbai greater is the lawlessness.Just look at the way Bhaiyyas and Lalus behave-they are 2000 km from Mumbai, the Jats and Panjus are slightly better as they are about 1500 km from Mumbai. The LTTE friends are equally bad and they too are 1500 kms from Mumbai.Knowledge and civic sense is travelling at slow speed from Mumbai,it seems!!

delhi gov.'s speech is ture i admit that i m from west india.but gov. must not point out the west n north indians for overstepping the limits.all r not same ,may be in delhi some people who doesn't follow the rule.so in west n north india there are people who follow the rule but its true that no. of that kind of persins r less.but gov.'s speech can make people of north n west india violent so they must take care abt that.bcoz when i read that news it makes me see red.so plz think abt that
