CPM says it wants industrial progress and condemns those who are against development iN Singur and against Tata's small car plant as enemies of India's progress.
But the same CPM is obstructing the construction of Steel factory in Orissa by POSCO.
So it shows that CPM is a bunch of hypocritic chauvinists who want only bengal to progress and other states to go backward

The difference is that CPM is organizing and encouraging violence and people taking to arms. Naxals are being armed in Orissa to oppose POSCO Project. Congress will never allow people to violently oppose any project.

As far as underdevelopment, yes when it comes to strikes, lockouts, hartals and whiling away time, nothing can beat the Communist Ruled Kolkatta. Kolkatta was a wonderful city till 1960s and 30 years of CPM rule has made it a living hell. Dont even try to compare any south Indian city with your state, even a small city like Nellore or Mangalore or madurai is more advanced and has more job opportunities than your CPM ruled hellhole called kolkatta

Now they got 200 crores so buddha will say 100% increase in investment.. high above national average but he will not mention that say gujarat got 10000 crores, maharashtra got 8000 crores investment. The figures are just indicative not actuals. But what I mean to say is people of bengal should keep their eyes open and vote accordingly in next elections.
