As far as underdevelopment, yes when it comes to strikes, lockouts, hartals and whiling away time, nothing can beat the Communist Ruled Kolkatta. Kolkatta was a wonderful city till 1960s and 30 years of CPM rule has made it a living hell. Dont even try to compare any south Indian city with your state, even a small city like Nellore or Mangalore or madurai is more advanced and has more job opportunities than your CPM ruled hellhole called kolkatta
