To liken Mumbai with Bangalore or Chennai is wrong.Because Bangaloru and Chennai have good outside population,but they are IT guys,Marwaris and other business people.In Mumbai the problem is different, we have criminals from Bihar and UP not software professionals.Raj didnt object to Gujus for example,because they are Business ness people who are enriching Mumbai..So he is not against outsiders as such

Imagine what would happen if every city and state starts behaving this way. For example, what if they tried to kick out all non Kannadigas from Bangalore? What would happen to our "world famous" IT industry that brings in so much foreign exchange to India?
Politicians like Raj Thackeray are hypocrites. They would send their kids to the best private schools .. whatever happened to Marathi medium ! Such people are a disgrace and a shame to a intelligent growing community. Its because of such people that a developing country like India will keep slipping back.

Excellent comments, FYI the grandson of balasaheb [kids of uddav] go to scotish and British schools and do not understand and speak marathi forget about learning marathi...
Practise then preach.....should be the what people should demand....it is like Lalu;s kids know of his kids have been educated in hindi medium school.....
Kids of these politican study on tax payers money in international school and these people give lecture to others about India and nationality....

Same is true to the DMK & PMK in Tamilnadu. Karunanidhi and Ramadoss cry over roof tops for Tamil but Anbumani Ramadoss and his son will get educated in Montforth Convent in Yercaud
These facts are never brought out by our "Secular" media like "CNN IBN" or"NDTV" when they interview these hypocrites.
Why dont somebody from the media on 24 hour channel ask Karunanidhi & Ramadoss why they are not practising what they preach in public ?? We love to hear their reply
guys i cant believe that the educated internet savvy population of this country is showing such narrowmindedness in putting the problem in hand to perspective. I mean does abusing marathis, south indians or north indians will solve your day to day problem. I am sure all of you understand the trick played by our politicians to keep this country split on religion, language, culture, identity, caste etc so that they can keep cooking their curry everytime election comes. The best thing to do is to ignore guys like Raj Thakre and get on with life. As in circus you will see clowns even in real life and Bal and Raj Thakres are such clowns. Iam sure marathis all over india dont feel about north, south and east indians in bombay the same way as Raj Thakre. It is the same about north indians and south indians too. Come on dont play on your regional identity. India is one country and no matter where you go in the world you will be known only as indians to outsiders. We have enough enemies outside our country. Why are we hell bent on making new enemies every day inside our country. Our undereducated politicians have fought enough battles on this lines in the past. The new generation should show guts to ignore such clowns. All of india is for everyone and we must consider ourselves as indians above all and always remain loyal to the cause of our motherland. I request my fellow indians to show magnanimity and ignore the offender. Lets work together to develop our beloved motherland jaihind

I was annoyed to read the comments of readers in this forum and others who keep on arguing their point and not see the ruse played by politicians. If educated indians think like this, i keep wondering about the 50% of our country men who are still unfortunate enough not to get formal education. That why i felt compelled to write what i felt from my heart.

hi u r 100% right my dear friend..but it is very difficult to understand ur point by the people like S Rambothu..we do not have the proper moral education to our young generation ..i do not think so that we r going to be a huge ecomoic power in the world..we r creating more compleax situation in our own country to live in..we hate each other on the name of caste and religion..now this bloody polticians highlighting another issue on the name of region...still we have to time to kick these nasty polticians...hope God will save this country...

Belgaum is part of Karnataka and everybody should learn and respect the language of the state they reside in. If Marathi speaking people does not want to learn kannada they are always welcome in Maharashtra...Kannadigas are most tolerant people in India.

right lol we should not kick them we should kill them we should kill east west south also so that only north indian can survive in india then after ST SC and GEN caste should kill each other dear what u will do alone in this country after that pakis will kill you.
Although many negative things are there but indian essense is something which helps us to get over that. Pray Bihar will also develop someday and people will not be kidnapped so frequently and educated people and industrialists will be able to stay there. Land of Buddha will have some prosperity.
