Loan Defaulter
by Hot Air on Feb 05, 2008 03:14 PM  Permalink

Didn't this hapless zero take some huge loan (from a Bank, I believe) and then default on its repayment? Gave some lame excuses on why he cannot repay. Just another typical TN politician who hopes to fish in the troubled political waters once MK becomes history. Probably aims to get just enough seats in the assembly to demand a disproportionate amount of power, vide the communists at the centre right now.

Hero worship is not successful always
by Chanakya on Feb 05, 2008 03:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

unfortunately, Tamil Nadu is a hero worship state coupled with politically uneducated people in villages, who understand either MGR/Amma of KarunaNidhi as their saviors. In a couple of years, if someone else becomes superstar, they will immediately shift loyalty to him and join his party in case he floats one. What our country is lacking today is a change of focus and mindset of people of rural India where they either believe in HAND (Congress) or other famous election symbols. They are unaware of the background of the party or the candidate and the rights, privileges, etc. available to them under the Indian Constitution..they are totally blank about budgets, allocations, punchayat funds, its utilisation etc. It would be a good direction, if the so called NGOs could start educating the farmers and poor about the running of government, utilisation of funds, their rights and privileges etc. so that they will have a check on these and decide before voting for a particular candidate or party.
I will Sharath all the best in fullfilling the desires of the poor and making Tamil Nadu proper in all fields.

This person sarath kumar divorced his wife and not bothered about his two teenaged daoughters. His second marriage with radhika is for the sake of money only. For radhika this fellow is third husband(officially). These two is going to serve the socieity.

If a man is not good with his personal relationships, it doesn't mean he is brainless or he will not do any good for the people.

Stop talking about his wives and talk about what change he CAN bring to TN.

by Vladimir Lenin on Feb 05, 2008 03:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

"He has a strong fan base" This is surely a joke. This joker could not get elected in his own (so called) home constituency even as a DMK candidate.
His popularity is non-existent and he is a complete non-entity in TN politics. Rediff is foolish to spare so much space for him

As long as the earth revolves, the Tamil and its community will live. Dravidianism is religion by itself but the British in order to make the administration easier they have diluted our culture by waging un wanted wars on our great un sung heros (Puli Thevan, Dhiran Chinnamali Gounder, Veeran Alagumuthu Konar Etc..). All these are the calculated action of the British and the Brahmins. Today the original Tamilians are just 55% of the tamil speaking population. Periyar is a Telugu, Vijay Kanth is a Telugu, Ranjinikanth a Marathi, and list will go on....... This is the major reason why a Malayali MGR became the CM and a Kannadika J.Jayalalitha became a CM. Being the Original Tamil speaking tamilians are not united the outsiders are ruling the state.
Wish, tamil brothers will unite and will raise back to its glory...Valga Dravada Nadu.

You are right, but the utter truth is: It is generally OK in TN to have multiple wives and they can serve as politicians, for ex- Karunanidhi and MGR and it is again OK for a woman (JJ) to become an unofficial wife and they can accept her as CM, but it is not OK to marry a divorcee ( with three official marriages), stange, right?

Hello gentlemen,

We are posting our comments and views on politics that is good sign to reflect democracy.

But we will not franchises our votes (most of the educated) and finally the politicians purchase vote for money from the poor and illiterates.

We have some many reasons to justify our stands. But who have spent more money will win the race and looks forward for the return of investment.

What will be the perfect solution for this problem?

Ist Solution- The private colleges to be nationalized (like corporation and no politicians will be allowed to sit as a chairman and take example from IIMs). So the politicians will not get the black money.

2nd Solution-

All the public work and contracts to be given to corporation (to be developed) instead of giving to politicians.

3rd Solution

All the political parties to be considered as company and there money flows to monitored by IT Department very strictly.

4th Solution

Minimum qualification and experience in any of the sector to be considered during accepting the candidate nomination.

And many..........
