unfortunately, Tamil Nadu is a hero worship state coupled with politically uneducated people in villages, who understand either MGR/Amma of KarunaNidhi as their saviors. In a couple of years, if someone else becomes superstar, they will immediately shift loyalty to him and join his party in case he floats one. What our country is lacking today is a change of focus and mindset of people of rural India where they either believe in HAND (Congress) or other famous election symbols. They are unaware of the background of the party or the candidate and the rights, privileges, etc. available to them under the Indian Constitution..they are totally blank about budgets, allocations, punchayat funds, its utilisation etc. It would be a good direction, if the so called NGOs could start educating the farmers and poor about the running of government, utilisation of funds, their rights and privileges etc. so that they will have a check on these and decide before voting for a particular candidate or party. I will Sharath all the best in fullfilling the desires of the poor and making Tamil Nadu proper in all fields.
