this was the mantra of the british , which has been learned by the congress & applied masterfully , the other parties r simply following the ways of the congress by supporting certian people, ITS TIME TO TALK ABOUT EQUALITY & not majority & minority.

If this is how country is going to be ruled - linguistic fanaticism, islamism and Xianist conversions, we need the Army to rule us and fix things.
Every Indian should have liberty to stay and work at any part of the country. This applies not only to Mumbai. One should not fell within our own country people from other states are un wanted persons. Other wise it will be similar situation what we have witnessed in other parts of the world, where they have shown by their action, that we indians are unwanted guests in their countries.
Technically speaking Bombay city of the british Raj was not a part of maharashtra but a seperate territory something like Goa, where quite a lot of marathi/konkani is spoken. But it is a seperate state. Bomaby became a part of maharashtra less then 50 years ago. Hence there should be no fighting saying that mumbai belongs to maharastra
