ok..lets have a fair competetion
by M S on Feb 04, 2008 02:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

by reading at many messages by non-maharashtrians, i get a sense that they are confident of being capable of bringing on development single handedly... so i suggest this fair cometition....100% non-violent and based on 'gandhigiri'...

since India officially is divided into states based on languages, people should go back to states where their language is spoken and marathi's should come back to mumbai. lets give all a period of two years to do this. then from 2011 to 2020 lets track the development by each state and its capital city. lets track the contribution of the same to national development. the state which wins the race can then boast of being hard working, smart, intelligent, enterprenur etc etc...

lets keep the defence forces out of this, the don't fight like dogs based on language. so how many non-maharashtrians/maharashtrains take this challange.

i am sure raj thakre will accept this challenge, will nitish kumar, lalu prasad, mayawati, mulayam singh, rajshekhar reddy, deve gauda, karunanidhi accept this challange?

what a crap. bihari bengali guju sindhi punjabi everyone built bombay and now for next 10 years as per your calculation, maharastra should capitalize on it. share everything that bombay has with every other state or exclude bombay chennai calcutta from the competition and then talk. actually I am also talking crap by geting into this discussion

Excuse me pls.No one has contributed anything everybody came here to earn. You have earned frm here & now u are talking against Mumbai. If ur intention was to build any city so why didnt u build ur won city ? Why came here?
So pls stop talking about building anything just accept that everybody comes here for his own profit

abhijeet, you are right. every individual/family will obviously move with their personal wealth. if its property they will have to liquidate it. this way your suggestion applies that respective wealth generated by non-maharashtrians go back to their own state.

I am not here to support for my state..

I am indian here.. and so i am...

And i will not even disclose which state i belong to.And i know what is the position of my state..And its development as well.

if u hue and cry and desperate to call some one as outsiders then u r digging ur own grave yard..

If u feel u lose job becoz of the so called outsiders then its shows how much competitive u r .If possible try to increase ur competitive level.NOthing other than that is possible...

As a proud indian i will live anywhere in india as per i wish and will work as i like..I am not bothered abt any one abt it ..

arey bhai, i dont fear for my job. but if someone stays on the sewarage of my area blocking it, someone stays illegaly under hills and ask compensation from govt when there is landslide, my tax money is wasted. if someone brings illegal auto and taxi on road without necessary norms satisfied, it endangers me and my family, blocks the roads meant for our vehicals that are tax paid.

many more things... so bottom line... compete legally :)

As a maharashtrian I also would like to ask these people to accept the challange.
what This Mr. KK is saying is something he is imaging about these states and if he thinks so while he is staying in maharshtra then this is the great shame on him...and then one should belive him neither maharashtrians nor UP/Bihari

I sincerely believe that u r a misinformed person basing your decisions on ill fed thoughts. India is officially divided into states for the purpose of administartion. And it is our constitutional right to live in whichever city we wish and observe our national festivals. Mumbai is not the richest city in India. Nor it is the most tax paying city in India. the tax collections in Mumbai are high due to corporate HO's being there. The business is done in all over Indian territory at 36lac sq km ( vs Mumbai 605 sq km ). And if you are a Mumbaikar first..........Shame on You for not being an Indian first.........You are safe because somebody from Punjab / Bihar / Orissa / UP etc is protecting you at the borders in sea , land and air.........It is because of this sick feeling of people like you the country is not progressing. you go to Siachen first and defend us. Or stand among bullets in Kashmir . ........... Just rise above tiny things and focus on a larger goal of INDIA 2020

the real problem
by Sahadevan KK on Feb 04, 2008 02:48 PM  Permalink

Look at our UP/Bihar. They are fantastic states. We have plenty of water, wonderful road network. Crime- just don't think about it. You will be in jail for castism. Our law and order system is the world best. Our politicians are honest than any other politician from India. Our election always happen in fear-free atmosphere. Our states are flooding with industries. Still I don't know : why our people come down to maharashtra and run taxies, Sell aloos

And maharashtra: This people don't know how to tackle the situation. Whoever comes to their home, allows him to utilize it and one day the guest becomes owner and these marathis will wake up. By that time, the guest become so strong, he challenges the true owner, The guest has so many support. His relatives/wellwishers from his own homeland tries to attack true owner. this story repeats everytime

Sounds funny, are you a politician. Its a fact that there is huge influx of people from other under developed states. Reason for this is lack of opportunities, lack of security, 0 return of investment - as many units are brought to a close in no time. Agree that TN is not part of this. But the rest are surely there & no one can deny that. We should introspect these things also BOSS.

Last but not the least, calling others impotent does not make you potent. Thanks!!!

Arun the problem here is not of loosing jobs. The problem here is of choking the existing infrastructure. We have to spread development in deeper pockets of the country. We all should think about this, also. Let me also go on to add that, I am not in any agreement with Raj Thackeray's remarks.

You need to get the HQ of all companies there - that is what is the main source of white capital. Next make sure that people who live there are without pretensions like caste etc and live to work. These things make Mumbai what it is today

I belong to rajasthan and not from Maharastra / U.P. / Bihar, hence my comments should be taken in right spirit and not as biased.

Having said that I think ideologically and ideally we should not encourage this type of policts by supporting Raj Thackre's and should ignore this kind of nonsense speech. This I am talking against and about Raj Thackre only and not against our sister and brother of Maharastra. Raj as doing all these for his political ambition and thus he is trying to play with your sentiments. Please donot promte this devil. This is my neutral opinion.

Whatever happend between MNS and SP is purely political issue and the common public is being targeted.
SP like MNS is a regional party which has boundry limit of UP.It could not win even one seat in Bihar assembly.MNS has the same territorial limitations.
Thousands of UP and Biharis migrate to greener pastures like mumbai because of social inequality, negative progress, lawlessness.corruption, police and political atrocities.
If you look at these migrant, they are mostly from the lower strata of economical hirearchy.
Now,what MNS is objecting to is the SP leadership comming here in Mumbai and trying to creat a citadel of power by useing these migrant. This will never go well with any local political party and also with the local population. This clash is unavoidable.
There is no need for the rest of the Indians to take a stand as if something big has happend because we Indians are known for this kind of regionalism.Has it not happend in other states ever before? So don't become saints because all of us are opportunists. We change sides when it suits us.
What is happening in Hariyana and Punjab,Karnataka and Tamilnadu in Bangaluru,Assami and Bengali?
