Hell Boy, Christianity has an ugly face which even the present day beleivers are unaware of. Just one sentence in the Bible (thou shall not suffer a witch) resulted in burning alive hundreds of thousands of women across Europe. Have you heard of Spanish inquisition or the inquisition in our own little Goa?

Arif, Ashoka did not kill any one. Those killed were soldiers who participated in the battle at Kalinga and he repented for the large number of death. Subsequently he renounced the kingdom and embraced Buddhism (as the buddhists do not beleive in any god but on the other hand they preach love for all living things - not only humanbeings). Now think of what your Prophet and the subsequent generations of islamic invaders had done.

JGN, You are soooo intelligent, u can read analyse a whole religion by one line from somewhere in between. Before the 65th ayat there are 64 ayats that u forgot to read. You kept on reading without understanding a word then on 65 you saw something that you can put against us as if the whole chapter is about that!!! What a great scholar.

They are not fighting on who is God!!! They have political differences which is shameful. Having said that shiyas are 10% of the total population its not a 50% split. So 90% of the block is generally in agreement.

No, there are in fact 73 sects in Islam (including Ahmediyas) and some of them are fighting with each other even today. Ahmediyas are not considered as Muslims and they cannot even call for prayer (Aazan) like other muslims as it is a crime punishable by death sentence.

There are 1.5 billion sects in Islam. Each and every muslim has a mind of his own but what is common is that we believe in ONE BOOK. With 1.5 billion people spread around the whole world we can surely have different opinions about different things.

Nothing of that sort happened during 1000 years of onslaught by the Semitic religions (Islamic invaders and European colonizers). There is no equality in Islam and Christianity. If that it was so, there would not have been any "dalits" in UP where the muslims ruled for nearly 600 years and in Kerala where the missionaries were very active. Caste system exists in Islam and Christianity also. There are even separate burial grounds for the 'dalit christians' So much for their compassion!!!
And pray when was the anti-conversion law enacted and in how many states that exists??

JGN - sincerely question yourself if you have integrity. From your posts I gather that you are not a dumb person. If you have will to read and understand, I welcome you to read entire book to get the context. Reading one verse of one Surah just distorts the whole meaning.
For example: From Surah 109: Al Kafiroon, God says:
109:1 Say : O ye that reject Faith! 109:2 I worship not that which ye worship, 109:3 Nor will ye worship that which I worship. 109:4 And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, 109:5 Nor will ye worship that which I worship. 109:6 To you be your Way, and to me mine.
Holy Quran is a book for entire humanity. God has given you ability to read and understand. Try to spend atleast 10% time of time you spend on this forum bashing Islam, to actually read it with an intent to learn.
Now, if you still want to follow your own way, be it.

every religion asks to fight for right. there is nothing wrong in this.
even the two biggest myths of ramayana and mahabharata were based on fights only...so there is nothing wrong in fighting....
before we call a fighter right or wrong we must see what is the reason he is fighting for and thats where we are making mistake....
dont you love pandawas who fought against kauravas. so shall we call you a hindu terrorists. we know the requirement of fighting so we dont get biased like most of the hindus who without any proper reason just blame us to be terrorist.

Golden, nobody will be fooled by the skewed logic of Dr. Zakir Naik. Mahabharata and Ramayana are epics (stories). You are trying to justify historical truth with what has been written in some stories.
Moreover Pandavas were not fighting with Kauravas for worshipping a different god. It is only muslims (and Christians in the mediveal era) who waged wars for propagation of their religion.

@JGN Do you know what is Ashwamedha Yagam? FYI, if you don't know, a powerful king/emperor sends his horse to other neighbourhood kingdoms and if the king doesn't become an ally, his kingdom will be invaded.
Do you see anything else except "Greed" behind this? How many lives were lost in the process? This was happening in the days of Ramayana and Mahabharata.
Any learned Muslim knows what are the repercussions of each step he/she takes. Can you, even after studying all your books, claim the same?

Pakistan is a very small part of the Islamic world. Yes we can drift away from Islam but as long as we have the Quran we will always come back because Quran is not going to change. You have no such guide for your religion, you will follow anyone who is powerful at a given time.

Just explain me one thing, when Quran was written we didn't have TV, films etc., so how come they are un-islamic as per Quran???
When idol worship is prohibited in quran, why do you touch and pray at the stone in Mecca?
When the punishment for stealing is chopping of hands, why do you want the Indian Penal code applied for that but want the islamic law for divorce and marriages?

Atlast there is a Hindu uprising which will open the eyes of so called secular parties who side with minorities for their votes. Now i hope no party will take hindus for granted. Enough is enough.. we hindus dont get land in our own country for temple where else we are supposed to get the land from???
