Arif, Ashoka did not kill any one. Those killed were soldiers who participated in the battle at Kalinga and he repented for the large number of death. Subsequently he renounced the kingdom and embraced Buddhism (as the buddhists do not beleive in any god but on the other hand they preach love for all living things - not only humanbeings). Now think of what your Prophet and the subsequent generations of islamic invaders had done.
