In any bad mishap in our country be it bomb blasts or any major harm done to Hindus we all just love to complain and blame everyone around us be it the corrupt politicans or ISI or Pakis. One thing we forget is that we are to be blamed for all these ills that our Motherland is facing.First we have to change ourselves and then change the thought process of HINDUS around us (THE ALWAYS FORGIVING HINDUS).The age old Hindu thought of LIVE and LET LIVE has to change and change to THAT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN INDIA YOU HAVE TO BE A HINDU AND NOTHING ELSE. The India you talk about and which you presently live in was not built by only Hindus. All countries transform and change over the centuries in terms of demographics and culture and India is no exception. If you want to live in only a Hindu India you will have to go back some 1000 years!

I admit that there was contribution by Muslims. They looted and destroyed massively the Hindu places of worship and tried their level best to totally destroy the Hindu Identity just like they did the pre-Islam Arabian identity. But they could not succeed. However, the British did some good though their negative contribution is more.

We have to adopt the policy that Muslims are adopting. Giving 10% of there income to poor hindu brothers. I feel in our country Temples and Dargahs are used by their management (people managing it) just to make money thats why you will find most of the Temples and Dargah are in very conjested and crowded places, and if the location is good than they dont spent anything on the development in and around the Temple or Dargah area. the Management uses this money for many silly things including filling their pockets. if any such incident will happen than they will blame the administration or the Goverment, which is not right. Goverment has a part in development of the area in and around these places but the Temple and the Dargah Management should spent 50% of its money received in Daan and Chadava which will be in Billions of rupees for the development of the area, but they will make Charriots, Mukuts, Domes of Gold and diamond worth rupees Billions for Show Off. Goverment Should make LAW and Bring all the Dargahs & Temples under Income Tax and make them to spent atleast 50% of the Chadava Income for development of the area around it and balance for the projects helping poor people. Lets Make our country a safe place for everyone.

It is most unfortunate the most of the famous temples in India are in private hands who want to grab the offerings and the political parties do not want to annoy brahmin community. It is high time that all the religious places in the country small or big should be managed by trusts not only to look after the welfare of the temple property but also the welfare of the pilgrims. It is high time that Parliament enact a separate legislation other than Societies Act which is worthless and hopeless. This legislation should be brought out in consultation with hindu organisations and scholars including hindu parties. No non-hindu or parties like DMK and muslim league should be associated. Friends whosoever read this article and agree with me should take up the matter with the elected representatives. thanks

It is no secret that management of religious places in our country has dubious record of honesty and fair play. Sadly, people always think that private sector performs better but in the case of management of religious places, our experience is quite different. Almost all the government administered religious places in our country, be it Vaishno Devi or Tirupati Balaji, all of them are doing great service to the ordinary devotees. Whereas religious places under the administration of individuals have hardly been taking care of ordinary visitors. The government must look at administration of all religious places and make touch laws and ensure that the offerings at all religious places are utilized in an honest and fair manner. The comfort and safety of the devotees must be given supreme consideration and it should not be left at the mercy of local greedy priests or their henchmen.

Every religion, there are suckers and inhuman people. If a temple or Durga or Chruch,which does not provide basic amenities and used for personal gains, it should be taken by govt and it should be administered. But the pity is temples Like Palani Murugan and Madurai meenakshi Temple, where there is huge revenue, it is badly managed.Most of Hindu religions holy places are slowly becoming like a backyard.
BJP or UPA has nothing to do with the Nain Devi disaster. Those who are destined to die do die. The families of dead and the injured be suitably compensated taking the disater as a road accident. The reasons for such a disaster should be very carefully studied to develop measures to prevent occurrence of such accidents and to install all the necessary measures for such accidents not to happen again. We can only seek Mercy of God and cannot seek justice from Him.May God be kind to the departed souls and relieve them from the cycle of bondage of Karma
We have a terror attack some 50 people die...everyone condemns it and RIGHTLLY SO,what about these iDiots who manage temples(i am a hindu-and it happens at Hindu temples most of the time)do not have to answer any one,....they should be hanged fro negligence.Where at the BJP,VHP.....leaders....who will take action against those responsible for mismanagement of crowds......do they want to tell that ISI is responsible for these acts.....we need an answer...

But here the point is whether adequate safety measures were in place or not and what should be done so that such tragic incidents are not repeated. All right please check up or make a survey, 99% of temples and religios places are managed by unscrupulous elements and not by trusts. Even if i agree to what you say what is harm in having a uniform trust law for hindu religious places all over the country. I do not mean trust managed by govt. appointees, the trustees can be the existing mangement people but there should be transparency in their working and use of public funds
