How can person go and contest in any constituency. Only full time residents of the constituency can contest for election in constituency. All western countries have very good rule and regulations and moreover peoples are matured. This dirty Indian politics of taking revenge sucks. There is no value, dignity, respect but just spend money and win election. That is why Sonia and Indira came to Karnataka to win election by cheating and bribing peoples. This the Irony of our country. India cannot become developed & rich state like USA, UK as long these things are happening. God only save poor guys. That is many peoples migrating to other countries like UK and USA.

Hillary and Clinton are settled in New York after Presidency and they residents of New York. That is why Hillary is contesting in New York Senate. When Mitt Romney Contested for Massachusetts state Governor and they was controversy regarding this prof of residence and they went to court to settle that.

This is purely immaturity on your part to talk like this. Hillary is now trying for Democratic party ticket for Presidency. She has to win Primary election in many states to get party ticket. This is the best way of getting party ticket. In India Party head or money will decide party tickets. primaries election are there to get party tickets in all election such as Presidancy, Governer, Senate, Congress in USA. Please not: To Contest for Governer one should from same state, To contest for Senate one should from same constituency.

Yediyurappa has contested from Shikaripura 6 times. First time he won with 63 percent votes defeating then Jail minister of Congress. Every time he has won with more than 50 percent of votes. In 1999 he lost by 2 percentage points due to set of circumstances including unpopularity of JH Patel govt.(Alliance was forced by George and Nitesh on state unit). Yediyurappas party controls city and all gram panchayats. JD(S) has lost deposit in last 5 elections in this seat. Is there a contest or easy way to get rid of Bangarappa by Congress.

You are right. I don't see any problem for Yeddyurappa to win. Bangarappa has done nothing to peoples of Shimoga. He is just winning in the name of his caste and liquor lobbies. It is all planned by Liquor lobbies. Main social issue hindering poor families is arrack. Rural poor families are getting destroyed and spoiled by liquor and low grade arrack by Congress liquor lobbies. Drunken men abuse kids and women there by destroying whole family. Because of family arrack drinking tradition, teens also start drinking arrack and spoil their career and do not go to schools. This has been happening since 60 years. In fact Congress is supplying arrack during election for vote bank. It was only BJP banned arrack to save poor families in our state.
