1. Congress has a 10% lead over the BJP and expected to have more than a comfortable majority. (Cong 41%, BJP 30.5%, JD(S) 22.5)
2. Though the state appear to have a multi-polar contest among Cong, BJP and JD(S), in majority of seats, effectively it is a a bi-polar fight that puts BJP into a disadvantage. The JD(S) trailing the BJP by 7% vote share, may end up close to the seat tally of the BJP as their votes are concentrated giving them a higher strike rate.
3. The BJP is poised to be decimated in Bangalore and suffer major losses in the coastal belt. In North Karnataka, the BJP holds the edge but expected to suffer minor erosion in its vote share. There is evidence that the Lingayat base of the BJP showing signs of strain.
4. The share of other parties like SP, JD(U), BSP comes down to around 6-7%.

I did not remove it. I cant. I am just a normal user. the moderator removes it. And yes your messages were uncivilized. In some countries there is a program on TV called media watch. In which they show the popular sites on which hate messages are posted. If the moderator does not remove your comments then rediff would become a good candidate to be included in that program.

Well then you have never been to a civilized country. :-). Even in Australia people supported Haneef because he was seen as innocent by the Australian public. You have to talk to a Australian to understand what they think of the government move at that time.

I dont know how many times you have travelled out of India. No matter where I have been, europe, uk and aus, i have seen many people on the airport who are religious. For e.g. sikhs, muslims (lots of them) and jewish. And more often then not they all are treated the same way at checkouts. As are as US is concerned it can treat anybody badly. For e.g. George Fernandis was stripped naked while he was the defese minister of India. So generalisation does not benefit anyone.

Well if by telling the truth I become a muslim the so be it. My parents are christians and I consider myself as a free thinker. And as far as wars are concerned I dont think the vietnamese ever did anything wrong against anyone yet 3.4 million perished. I was only making a point against hate messaging. Anyways if you want to keep doing that its your choice :-).

The point is simple. People are opposed to ethnic profiling. If you are a US citizen then you must be aware of the opposition to ethnic profiling. The number of muslim immigrants to US has been highest after 911. While there can be odd cases, overall there is no ethnic profiling.

each word is true... Also it is the nature of the Hindu Secular Leaders of our country to keep proving himself "secular" - by the way of self-denial, Hindu bashing and pleasing the minorities. On the contrary Muslim and Christian leaders never bash their own religion and never bother about what the other community's members are bothered about.
