I dont know how many times you have travelled out of India. No matter where I have been, europe, uk and aus, i have seen many people on the airport who are religious. For e.g. sikhs, muslims (lots of them) and jewish. And more often then not they all are treated the same way at checkouts. As are as US is concerned it can treat anybody badly. For e.g. George Fernandis was stripped naked while he was the defese minister of India. So generalisation does not benefit anyone.
