BJP Promises irks POwer Boards
by anant gupta on Apr 25, 2008 08:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Oh, yeah?

How about Congress making similar promises in Punjab And, losing elections) never irked Power Boards there?

Pther parties, like the DMK had made more atrocious promises and no one objected.

So, how come only when the BJP promises something, that gets Power Board's goat?

All sops are bribes.

But, then, Congress bribe can't be holy and BJP's a nightmare.

Hello Sir, It is always BJP that claimed to be a party with a difference... so if they do the same things that other parties do where is the difference? Bottomline is when a party wants power they will resort to any kind of dirty tactics BJP is no different.

BJP is an extreme rightwing communal party, it is far more dangerous than the terrorists in the country. This judgment was given by a Supreme Court, while ordering reinvestigation on the Post Godhra communal violence in Gujarat.

Free Power to Farmers in Karnataka - BJP is fooling people
by jamsheed abumohammed on Apr 25, 2008 08:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP has promised to supply free power to farmers having irrigation pumpsets. This is what a bleagured party would do to keep it floating in politics. Without understanding its repercussion on the already financial starving Electricity Companies would lose another 800 cr in the bargain. BJP's promise is nothing but a gimmick to capture vote any cost. But people of Karanataka are aware of such freebies promises by such communal parties. They would not be swayed by such promises and would vote only Congress and its allies in the next elections. Congress is the only Party that would solve all the problems facing farming community. It has already finalised its manifesto where farming community would get its lion share including write off all loans, supply of rice at Rs.2 to all. Krishna is an astute politician and his return would mark a sea change in the politics. He has already done so much in IT revolution and once back in power he would make Karnata as the most prosperous state in the country. It is for the secular forces to unite and vote for Congress and allies. Muslims and Christians are solidly behind them and would vote enblock to see the Gowdas and BJP bite dust finally in Karnataka. The day dreamers BJP would pack their baggages elsewhere to try their luck and people of south would not allow them any foot hotld. It is for sure and next elections would prove that secularism would win over communalists. Make sure that such promises do not cut ice with the people,Congress.

The very word secularism used shows the person is a true fanatic, communal to the core. So its ablility and work done by ministers, money, muscle power all comes to fore in this election. whoever wins in providing these elements in balance would win the elections. Its very sorry state of people adjudging parties based on ideologies. Let us think different and work for better cause of society rather scrabbling upon same old words communal, secular etc

JAmsheed,

You claim that "Congress is the only Party that would solve all the problems facing farming community"

Just like they solved the problem of over 5,000 farmers in Vidharbha, who committed suicide??

What a solution!!
