BJP Promises irks POwer Boards

Oh, yeah?
How about Congress making similar promises in Punjab And, losing elections) never irked Power Boards there?
Pther parties, like the DMK had made more atrocious promises and no one objected.
So, how come only when the BJP promises something, that gets Power Board's goat?
All sops are bribes.
But, then, Congress bribe can't be holy and BJP's a nightmare.
