SP has no following in Karnataka
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Apr 25, 2008 07:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bangarappa ruled out any alliance with Congress. He must understand that on his own SP cannot win even a single seat. It is dividing votes that will help the Gowdas and BJP. Congress is very strong but then such splinter groups may cause some upsets to the apple cart. It is better for Bangarappa to join forces with Congress if he is really interest in keeping the communalists at bay in Karanataka. On his own, he will win nothing. Congress leadership including Soniaji must talk to him directly and break the ice. May be Mulayam has some grienvances with the congress due to his third front dealings but then common cause should unite them in karnataka. Congress and allies are bracing for a showdown with the communalists particularly the safron brigade who are trying to make a foothold in the South. The Safran brigade will be decimated in the next hustings is for sure and Bangarappa should strengthen the hands of secular forces. It is in his interest and the interest of the people of Karnataka that all the secular parties unite to keep the Gowdas and BJP away.People of Karanataka are peace loving and they would like progress on all fronts and to them Krishna is a saviour who during his stint has taken Bangalore to the world map through IT revolution. His returning to state politics will augur well for Karnataka and its people. It is in the fitness of things that all minorities muslims, christians, dalits should vote enblock for the success of Congress and its allies in the elections.

You are right Singha. Now it is BJP's time to fool Kannadigas. The party's Presidant is caught on camera taking wads of money from arms dealers and BJP preaches probity in public life. What a joke?

What nonsense is your thinking. One person is corrupt and asked to resign from the post.

Entire family is corrupt - Gowda and group

Entire party is corrupt - congress and UPA

You can not complain about Yedi. Yedi and Mahatma Modiji are not corrupt and can take the country forward.

BJP is corrupt to the core. What about defence deals? What about Mr. Anant Kumar' land deals? What about violence in Gujarat?

If Narendra Modi is a mahatma, then Keshto Mukherjee must be Dilip Kumar.

Pls dont insult Mahatma Modiji:

Let me say a few words about our hero.

Terror to Islamist and Christianist Terrorists
Hero of Believing Hindus
Savior of Righteousness
Destroyer of Pseudo Secular Charlatans
Someone Beyond Corruption
Doyen of Prosperity
God's Chosen One for Gujarat nay India
From the Land of Somnath
Lord Shiva's Taandav Dance
From the Land of Dwaraka
Lord Krishna's Intellect and Commitment
Save India from Mainos, We are Waiting for You
May our beloved mothers Bharat Mata and Bhavani Bless You. Our Lion Sardar Mahatma Modiji.. Jaya Vijayee Bhava

(Pseudo seculars - islamists, christianists, congressmen and communists dont believe in free speech and truth will report abuse. Till u can see the post savor the same. God Bless. also checkout you tube for "vande matharam lata hemant". Check out the page of uploader bharatamata; it has very nice favorite videos including siddhu speaking on our Sardar Mahatma Narendra Bhai Modiji)

Do u know what our father of nation said about muslims; he said "My own experiences confirm that musalmaans as a rule are bullies. I have noticed this in railway trains, on public roads, and in the quarrels which I settled. For Hindus my suggestion is between violence and cowardly flight, prefer violence".

Is he the leader!!!
by debjyoti chatterjee on Apr 25, 2008 07:16 AM  Permalink

When the leader himself is not sure people will vote in his favour or not, then think about his party and party worker's plight. He should contest from all the constituencies.

Karnataka: Bangarappa rules out SP-Congress alliance
by Suresh Gowda on Apr 25, 2008 06:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bangarappa is highly overrated.
He usually wins his loksabha seat.
He went to BJP thinking he can become Union minister. He won but NDA did not get majority.
He then thought that third front will gain. It did not happen.
Now he is not in good health and will face certain defeat against yediyurappa in Shikaripur and most likely in Sagar Also.
He will help BJP by putting candidates in BJP strongholds in coastral region which takes away from congress. Combined congress and samajwadi votes would have given BJP some anxious moments but it is not happenning.
Hope this is last election for Bangarappa, Devegowda, Dharam Singh, Krishna for the sake of state and country.

You are absolutely right Sri Sureshji, by the by what are your comments about M/s D K Shivakumar, Mallikarjun Kharge, Siddaramaiah, Jaffer Shariff, H D Kumaraswamy and M P Prakash?

I only wish that people of Karnataka realise selfish motive behind the game played by these so called senior politicians and vote sensibly.

It will be really nice, if one single party is voted to power like what electorate in Gujarat, UP and Haryana did.

DK Shivakumar. Only in congress school of politics a 2 time MLA and a minister once can become 80 crore rich. He is a loyalist of Krishna. Devegowda hates him more than BJP. Devegowda has same love for Siddaramiah, Ramakrishna Hegde and so many others. Same case with Siddaramiah.
Karnataka had the best administrators and leaders and politics was as civil as it could be. But I think Devegowda and his family have ruined it. I put equal blame on Siddaramiah and his associates where they conducted Kuruba and OBC caste rallies saying Siddaramiah is Karnataka's Lalu (Lalu baloon has been puctured and if UPA loses election next year he would be running between bail and jail is a different matter). For the sake of state hope DeveGowda, Kumaraswamy and associates as well as Siddaramiah and his candidates lose big.
Jaffar Shariff I hope he joins BSP. That would reduce congress to UP, Bihar stage. Last time BSP doubled its vote from 0.8 to 1.6 percent. Congress tally came down from 145 to 65. This time they are more resoucefull both moneywise and candidatewise. Their vote share may touch 4 percent minimum. If it touches 5 percent congress will be strugging to reach 25 seats.
M.P.Prakash is a really a gem of politician. Typically civil well read and soft spoken. He wanted to join BJP but in his native Bellary district BJP could not give tickets due to opposition of local unit. One way it was good. He joined congress and created one more faction which will destroy congress in karn
