Tactcal Voting
by Pop Head on Apr 24, 2008 11:12 AM  Permalink

The assumption that Lingayat Brahmin vote will win majority for the BJP is a mere fallacy. (The Brahmin vote is miniscule in the state).

The JD(S) has already largely perceived to have collapsed and all other communities may graviate towards the Congress since the JD(S) is increasingly seen as a loser. This second scenaraio is already visibly evident. It must be noted that Vokaligas and Muslims tend to switch from JD(S) and Congress and back again very freqently.

Vicky's analysis of why SM Krishna is not standing or why Congress is not announcing its
CM candidate is based on the later scenario - Congress is trying to be a magnet for all castes and does not want to upset caste equations - very shrewd strategy.

So what evidence is available of a Lingayat-non-Lingayat caste polarization has taken place. The BJP boasted that they had a 15 day campaign lead over the Coingress. Now that they hit the campaign trail, they have realized that the masses have very little enthusiasm for them.

Talks on with Bangarappa: Krishna
by Suresh Gowda on Apr 24, 2008 09:46 AM  Permalink

Congress has given up before campaiging begins.
Only interest remaining now is how big is BJP majority. Is it few seats short of majority to more than 2/3rd majority.
Contest between Yediyurappa and Bangarappa fielded by combined opposition(Congress, JD(S) and others). Yediyurappa will win and it will be the end of Bangarappa's political career.

None of the congress leaders are confident. Krishna chickened out of contest. Siddaramiah asked for 2 seats and was given only one where he faces a strong BJP opponent.

Christians & muslims are terrorists
by Natham Thandani on Apr 24, 2008 06:18 AM  Permalink

Most of the terrorist organizations, even some communist ones, are
supported by christian missionaries or muslims.

Atleast 95% of christians and muslims are terrorists because they
believe in killing and torturing humans and animals as sacrificial
offerings.

Where as atleast 95% of hindus and buddhists are peace loving
because they do not believe in killing or torturing any one as
sacrificial offerings.

RSS captured Kerala Church.

The invitation extended to top BJP leader L K Advani by Mar Thoma Metropolitan Joseph Mar Thoma to attend the 90th birthday celebrations of Valiya Metropolitan Philipose Mar Chrisostum is developing into a stormy controversy within the Mar Thoma Church.

Advani has been invited in person by Joseph Mar Thoma to inaugurate the birthday celebrations in Kottayam on April 26. The decision was taken by the Metropolitan without discussing it in the Bishop Synod or the Church Council.

The meeting decided to give a memorandum signed by 10,000 believers to Joseph Mar Thoma requesting him to cancel the invitation. Former clergy trustee Rev. A P Jacob presided over the meeting.

This is a truth that killer RSS is now hardly trying to find a safer place between Indian people. The same people engaged now to join people who has been continuously trying to divide and attack.
