see the same Maaywati was saying or for that matter evey leader frm North was saying tht the UP people are the main reason of development of Mumbai and not the Marathi people. And here a leader from north wants money to develop there state. This clearly shows that these states r under developed for almost 60 years due to there own leaders and the people frm these states r coming to other states and making the life of locals hell as they charge very less money as compared to the locals as whtever they will get is a bonous for them rather than working in htere own states as they will get nothing there. This is the fact and all people shld realise this, that Maharashtra and Gujrath r the real developed states in the country.

If UP and Bihari labourers can work at a lower salary why can the Marathi and the so called "locals" in other states do the same.
If you would care to look a little more closely, the workers from UP and Bihar are mostly in the heavy load bearing work category - which the locals are unable to cater to.
No one employs an outsider until there is a specific advantage. Are the same states of UP, Bihar, Bengal, Assam and Tripura not being in undated by import of cheap labour from adjoining country. If you count their numbers, it will be far greater than all the UP and Biharis working outside as labour.
Finally, India is a land of Indians. SO do not preach locals amoung locals. It is this very divisive feelings which had been the creator of small kingdoms and princely states in the past and which were very easily ruled by invaders from West - both by land and by sea routes.
Learn to live together and work as a team otherwise it will be very easy for another person to break you up.
Congress Party has collected Rs. 54000.00 crores from the business people such as MNCs like industrialists, retailers, etc., with a view to face the next Parliament Election. Therefore, the business people have started to increase their products prices and hence, Congress headed UPA cannot do anything in the price rise.

There is a huge Global price rise. How do you justify that? A global price rise would surely have its effects in India. The price of Oil has gone up from early 80s to 117 USD a barrel, which is putting a heavy load on the exchequre, the crops are getting destroyed in unseasonal rains and droughts. With US market sinking, net earning through exports are going down also the service sector is taking a hit. Price rise is not as simple as it appears to be.
The numbers game is again causing rift in adminsistration of the Legislature.
Why? Because UP and some other states continue to be big and have large numbers of representatives who sit together and connive.
UP needs to be divided into 1. Poorvanchal (Part of East UP and West Bihar) 2. Bundelkhand - Partsof Central UP along with parts of North MP and East Rajasthan 3. Jaatkhand - Balance part or West UP.
Benefits of Bifurcation of UP:-
a. Governance will improve b. Funds will be devolved to the needy c. MCloser watch on the happenings by the administration d. More interdepatmental control since area of influence will diminish e. Effective management by the minister and the buraucracy f. More growth opportunity to the Civil Secrvice cadres g. Lesser size will make the reach of administration more effective and accurate h. Response time in times of crises will be very less
This needs to be done in case of AP and Karnataka and Orrisa as well
Smaller states will not create undue gimmicks in the Parliament

Goa is a Union Territory becoming a State. It cannot be compared with present UP even after its division seperating Uttaranchal
Further Goa does not destabilise Centre which is slowly learning to work as a coaliation. Other wise it was states like UP and Bihar who formed the Govt's in the past.
Efficient management and cost control is the most affirmative and consistent approach to growth. It requires implementable planning and execution to the hilt.
It also requires feedback and monitoring for midway correction and alternative actions as and when required
I believe there is some formula for allocation of funds. The formula ideally should be based on consensus and agreement among all states. The central funds should be allocated/ distributed only based on the agreed formula. If that were the case why certain groups exert pressure to extract funds. What will happen if all states resort to the same tactic. It is the responsibilty of the media to focuss and comment on these issues. They should study the existing system and point out the lacunae and if possible come out with the solution. They can also invite learned people among public to speak and wtite about it. What is the use of meadia/ channels conducting opinion polls with out disseminating relevant information.

The money allocation should be as per population % at the time of 1947 stataewise. These BIMARU stataes do not contribute anything positive but just ask for money in the name of development. First you go to these states and see what kinds of contribution they are doing. Even right from fighting for the indepen etc.. to till now they contribution is not hide. You pls open you eyes and see. Most of the minerals are belong to Jharkhand, Bihar and Orisa. Most of the grain has been grown specially White, RICE & Plus from these states only. So on what basis you are saying it bemaru state. The basis problem in that states are infrastructure and that is to be provided by Government. The Government who nither want to develop these states nor want to finance any such thing.
See the percentage of Persons qualify for the post of IAS, IFS, IIT, IIM etc.. and then compare with your state then you will find your real position.
Most of the north India Lands are cultivative lands however in other state like Gujarat, Maharastra and Andra maximum lands are infertile so they offer land to industries on cheaper rate to put industries and same may not be possible in North India especilly in U.P and Bihar. Hence pls look at your view and change for safegaurd of our country.

It is not that simple. First of all it is not just the numbers, you have to look to percent of people qualifying for the above as you mentioned, there is a lot of difference in 10 out of 20 and 11 out of 100. Also, you are correct in saying that Bihar has maximum amout of minerals, and UP is one of the most fertile areas, but the fact lies that the people here are not getting the benifits. They are always facing the apathy of the center and the state goverment or else how do you justify highest number of migrants specially at the labor class from UP and Bihar, why would one migrate if they have enough employment and opportunities in their own state. Further, the things are made even more complicated by the cast and community divisions that are promoted by different governments thus putting a blnket on the problems and not resolving them.

Well said Mr Singh. It is the creed of the so called well off "english speaking Pseudo's who sit in their A/c rooms and pass judgement on people who mine and send the coal to run their power plants and mine and produce steel for use in their factories.
These people should go to the CIS countries of ex Soviet Union and see how much hatered and scum is there in the hearts of Tajiks, Uzbekis, Georgians, Armenians, Ukaraine etc etc against the current Russian Federation citizens who exploited their mineral wealth and cheap labour and profitted by using the raw materials to manufacutre finised goods for sale and use. These regions (now countries) were not allowed to grow and develop and were deprived of a economic model of sustenance by Russians.
It is indeed very demoralising to note that Indians who are now able to read and write and earn their own livlihood have gone away from their own brothern alongwith whom they fought the enemies of this land calling it an Indian Nation.

But why US is not killing Osama ?? They want to keep him alive for there own gain... otherwise now technology is so fast that no one can create the tape just before the last US election so easily without being caught. I think you should watch an award winning documentry Fahrenheit 911 by Michel Moore. You would see things are very complicated. He raised a lot of questions which needs to be answered about things leading upto 911 and post that. Also about Taliban, this a fact that US created, trained and assisted them with the help of ISI to remove Soviet Union and do not need to watch a movie to know that. That has always been accepted by the US.
