If the JD(S) manages to win even 50 seats, the Congress (which will most likely emerge as single largest party - largely due to tactical voting by Vokkaligas and Muslims) will have no option but to support JD(S). The BJP will win fewer seats than in previous election, because Vokkaligas and Dalits have fiercely turned against it and Muslims are getting ready for tactical voting for first time in Karnataka. North Karnataka which is Lingayat dominated also has very high Muslim population. This will effectively neutralize BJP's support at the polls.
Guru Basavanna founded a new Relegion called " Lingayata". Few contemporaries like Siddharama called it as "Basava Dharma" as it was founded by Guru Basavanna is a non-Hindu, non-Vedic Faith for following reasons: - Hinduism has no one single founder where as Lingayatism has Lord Basavanna as its founder-prophet. - Hinduism based on the preachings of Vedas, Agamas, Bhagawadgita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Bhagawata, etc. where as Basavanna questioned the authority of all these Hindu Scriptures and rejected many of the tenets contained therein. Vachana literature which opposed four-fold caste system, untouchability, polytheism, inequality and preached equality, monotheism etc. is the authoritative source of knowledge for Lingayats. - Main ritual of Hinduism is Homa, Yajna and Sacrifice. Lingayat religion totally rejects and opposes such rituals. - Hinduism considers places like Kashi, Tirupathi etc as holy and rivers like Ganga, Yamuna etc as sacred. It believes visiting of such places and taking dip in holy rivers will absolve all sins committed. Lingayatism does not consider any such places on earth as holy and any river or pond as sacred and mere dip in water will absolve all sins. Concept of sin and merit in Hinduism and Lingayatism is completely different. - Lingayats do not chant either Geeta or Gayatri, do not worship either Ganga or Govu. - Hinduism believes in 5 pollutions- pollution of birth, death, caste, menstruation and orts. Stop the BJP at all costs. Resort to tactical voting wherever possible. Vote for the candidate most likely to defeat BJP. Don't care if it's Congress or JD(S) or BSP. The BJP will create bloodshed between Vokkaligas and Lingayats in Karnataka if it is allowed to get any foothold.

Bangalore: In the run up to the battle for Karnataka, the Lok Paritran party founded by former IITians is all set to make good of the educated voters in Bangalore. The political party of the educated elite will be fielding candidates in 20 of the 28 Assembly seats in Bangalore.
They do not have any grand ambitions of winning every seat, but what they do promise is a change from mundane politics.

We have to blame the whole political system in India. They are hungry for power. To gain power in politics they are doing this. The congress does it in one way and the BJP has their own methods. Such selfish persons are destroying our country unity. The recent attacks on Tamil people in Bangalore were done by politicians. This is the main reason. For their political gains they do this things.
