'If India can speak up against Pakistan, why not against China?'
by James Bond on Apr 17, 2008 10:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian can speak against China but not after having instigated from Tibetians. For us our priority is not Tibet freedom. We support their struggle, but do not want to be a party as we never got help from any country when we were fighting.

Our concern is Arunachal Pradesh and any malafide greed on that state should be told firmly to China. Make our army more inhuman. They should be trained to slaughter humans like Pakistanis and other jehadis do. Once you have this kind of repute t he other country automatically fears.

Why India is not Speaking
by Arvind Singh on Apr 17, 2008 10:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Man be cool, you are right and you are wrong. Because people who are right are sitting in wrong place and people who are wrong are sitting at right place. We should try to first check ourselves and then our surronding will change automatically, India Cannot speak against any one till we have good leaders, Didnt India speak against British law, we not only said but also got Independence, Only thing was at that moment, we had Gandhiji, BhagatSingh, ChanderShekhar, Swami Vivekanand ji. Its not that we donot have those HEROES still in our culture, but today their dream is HONDA CITY NIGHT CLUBS, and you see we are getting it every where every day. What we want we are getting, Only we have changed our priority. India is nothing without you and me. I donot think I got GUTS to stand out in street and say "CHINA BEHAVE PROPERLY" loudly, So you see why INDIA CANNOT SPEAK. TILL WE CANNOT SPEAK, INDIA CAN NOT. SO PLEASE DONOT BLAME INDIA OR ANYONE AS THEY ARE JUST LIKE ME. WHAT I CANNOT DO, I SHOULD NOT EXPECT OTHER TO DO.
WE DO NOT WANT TO BE LATE AT OFFICE BY 5min as they will cut half day wage.but we want others to come forward and stand boldly even if they are going to be killed. We are more important than INDIA. SO INDIA CANNOT SPEAK. THE DAY INDIA is more Important than I am, INDIA WILL SPEAK.
SO... now you know WHY INDIA IS NOT SPEAKING

Bitter Truth
by Atul on Apr 17, 2008 10:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I know that it will sound bitter, Nearly a 1000 yr of foreign rule (Muslim and British)has made most Indian leaders spineless. When I say 'most' it actually means a majority who have a political voice. Then there are a huge number of poor and hungry silent common man who live for the sake of existence. These poor people are least bothered about national and international issues as they are just busy with their effort for every day survival.
Most people in large Indian cities won't even bother to stop if they see a person being murdered or a woman being molested, How can you expect these spineless 'rats' to react to Tibetean plight. There policy is to look the other way and hope that the problem will disappear. This is what is famously known as the 'ostrich syndrome'.
Only about 2-3% Indians have courage and I salute them becoz of those 2-3% people that India is surviving.

India can afford only neutral stand
by ajay prasher on Apr 17, 2008 10:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The recent developments in China have been subject to intense discussion worldwide.India too is watching it very closely since it has no opinion to express.Since Sino-Indian war how China has boldly occupied our land and we are still watching. If your neighbour occupies a portion of your house and still looks at you smilingly, what should be your response,if you have self respect. For sake of business, how long you can afford to trade your national interests. This all despite the fact, that a country like china has been helping all those who have hostile attitude againt India, whether its pakistan,or any other country. Lets have firm stand and behave like a strong self respecting nation.

'Why India can speak up against Pakistan, and not against China?'
by bharathwasi on Apr 17, 2008 09:59 AM  Permalink

The answer to this is obvious...china is a bigger superpower compared to India. It has licked us hollow during the indo-china war. The chinese occupied indian land...we do not have the guts to talk...in any of the international forums.
We have a bunch of incorrigble idiots and morons on the top who do not deserve the post they are in.
Hence we are trying to show our power over smaller countries like Pak, Bangladesh and Maldives.
We definitely need more intelligient, selfless and patriotic people at the top. The government should take all efforts to do the same.

Tibet
by arungopal agarwal on Apr 17, 2008 09:52 AM  Permalink

The fate of Tibet should be decided by first Tibetens, with whom they want to live - present scene is with China. They are to ask democratic way in Tibet within Chinese laws.
India is highly afraid of China due to our democratic system which is based on vote bank not on national issues.
