India can be perfect union only if masses are trained for perfect public behaviour. We have all the law and police. but what have we achived in last 50 years. Our city looks like fish market. road, foot path every where there is chaos. Why ? Because most of the people dont have responsiblity, discipline. they were never trained on civic issues. Our education is so rotten to the core. We spend our child hood ratta maro goegraphy, history and pass the exam. Our mind becomes dull. If u see any developed nation, the first thing they do is teach their citizen to take responsiblity, work hard for making of better soeicty. Their school, college, church, movies every where they are training citizen to respect the ''right and need'' of others. What do we teach in our movies. just f9yjh fantasy. What happens in our temple, just go pray to god to get things done without doing anything. No wonder we are so backward. There is no place in our temple where satsang can happen. People can sit together and share there comitment to truth, service etc. take resolve that he will spend his energy on doing good thing for progress of our society, nation. we need revolution on this line. That could make perfect india. Otherwise keep dreaming.

A saintly personality has also provided a solution.According to him the abandonment of Krsna worship, which is the core of Vedic culture is the only cause of our wretched condition. When you turn your face away from Krsna,Sri Laxmidevi also abandons you. This leads to poverty. And poverty will force you to perform sinful activities which in turn will lead to loss of all good qualities. The health, wealth, name, fame etc that we earn is due to our karmic reaction. It is not due to hard work. All endeavours to uplift society materialistically is bound to fail.Bringing the general public towards Krsna will not only bring spiritual but all material benefits.
1. learned People to teach/advise and take us to the best possible way of life.
2. Strong, curragious Brave peolple to Protect us within our geological boundry.
3. Intelligent, tact ful peole who can trade and have good relation ship with our nighbours.
4. Though not learned much, Physically strong people who can do the work honestly.
Group is done by this way very thought fully.
No one belongs to any group by birth but by ocupation.
All started with this.If today its not existing and meaning is meaningless, I & You are the contributors for this cause. Like us all Indians.... Do you oppose this?

This is only possible if everyone is Hindu because that is a peaceful religion. The country had survived and prosepered for thousands of years with this system.
It all ended with the invasion of barbarian Muslims and Christians. We are in Kaliyuga and it will only end when these two demonic religions are wiped out.
Well we have the habit of putting up the blame on every one else for messing up our own table. We should 1)Accept the fact that there are cultural mistakes 2)Constitutional amendments to make it a serious crime to involve in any sort of religion/caste based politics. 3)Governemnt reservations to communities who are backward due to socio-geo-political reasons and not to any one else(Minority Relgion is Not a Reason). 4)Establishment of funds by private charities to help the poor.Alms giving is not governments job
Hence it is imperative to maintain 'cultural' aka 'caste' diversity in all temples in India.
Government of India should implement 'reservations' in all Indian temples as per the 'caste' census in India.
1. 52% of all temple staff including Pujaris/Priests should be from OBC communities. 2. 29% temple staff including Pujaris/Priests should be from Dalits and Tribals. 3. Remaining all temple staff including Pujaris/Priests should be from other castes.
Otherwise India might disintegrate into 500 independent states as in pre-BristishRaj.

Hey Parimala, Having a Hindu name does not mean that you are cognizance of Hinduism. How could you tell we have 3 crore gods. It proves your lack of knowledge in Hinduism. Read the scripture and you will come to know we have only one GOD and that is KRISHNA and others are associate of him including SHIVA and BRAHMA. Please before you post something about Hinduism, try to know about the philosophy of Hinduism.

First, you failed to recognize the tongue-in-cheek comment I made to that initial post.
Next, look what you have done. By your comments, you are starting a shaivite-vaishnaivite war here. With all the north-south, hindu-muslim, forward-backward, left-right, dark-fair, tall-short wars that go on here, go ahead and throw this one in the mix too.
As for my understanding of Hindu philosophy, I am willing to debate with you any day on the richness and nuances the various philosophies under Asthika and Nasthika schools.

Sripada Shankaracharya's advaita philosophy was comprehensively destroyed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

More than him, its you who needs to read the scriptures. Hindu mythology indeed has 33 crore Gods and goddesses. If you don't know - don't shove your ignorance of the scriptures down someone else's throat. Do some research - not just on google but the so called guardians of religion and see for yourself - u will be surprised by what u hear, trust me.
...as it discusses India as a transitional society. I too, am not comfortable with the trm 'sin and confession'. We are one society, one nation and everybody should get opportunity to grow and excel. If we look at the reservation with this vision, there won't be heart burning or a misguided sense of victory.
