my dear jaihanuman, .. it is you who is bigoted. everything that you said about the author is a reflection of yourself. you do not think. a brahmin is supposed to be an educated scholar. Today, Brahmin has become a rigid caste at its own. Everybody in the world should be given an equal (and nothing more) opportunity to seek intelligence. The author doesnt reek hate. you do. I found the authors words very insightful. you, on the other hand, is crass.

You didnt answer my question, why do you hate brahmin men and love their women.
I am happy for the SC judgement of the reservation, because creamy layer is not there it is a just criteria for reservation.
If you dont know brahmins have always been a poor community. Never were they rich. Their basic motto is simple living high tinking.

Their duty is to uphold DHARMA NOT to be epitome of tolerance, they are tolerant only towards this goal.
There have been brahmins who have destroyed all the warriors of the earth when adharma had grown ,eg parashuram.
So MR AP brahmins are not in business of being tolerant, they choose to do it if it helps them in uphold dharma and they resort to dharma yuddh when that needs to be done.
Because of Cast System, INDIAN CULTURE SURVIVED on SLAUGHT of INVADERS.It was based on Distribution of Work. Now Education is Free and available and India is Free Democratic Country. That system is no longer needed and Hinduism do not depend on it. So no need to bash on BRAHMINS , They were not who controlled country, besides they were only one percent of Population. What I would say thank them for preserving Culture against all odds.

Well said, this zionists, secessionists like the gentlemen above, Mr Hanuman will never understand what Brahmins have done to lower caste people over centuries. There are sufficient cases to prove that the caste system was a social evil. What pride do these people get by reestablishing their caste status, something which is immaterial today in a world where just a 2 pass candidate gets a handsome salary in a BPO while a well educated teacher gets not even 50% of the former. Old-fashioned thoughts needs to be removed and caste system should no longer put Hinduism to shame. In the name of being close to god, the brahmins exploited many a innocent women or so-called devadasis inside temples in the midst of dark nights without the knowledge of anyone. The prevented entry of dalits/harijans to temples which was an outright human rights violation. In Bengal when a Zaminder/landlord who had no children due to impotency, used to approach a Purahit(Brahmin)for a solution.The brahimns used to ask for a 'Yagna' in the middle of an auspicious night after which four to five brahmins used to have sex with the Zaminder's wife to enable her to conceive. People who were mostly illiterate used to think that it was a miracle of god and the brahmin's mantras. This is a true fact that i am referring to. Blockheads like the gentleman above will never understand or accept this fact instead they will find some vague historical facts to justify and prove the false self-proclaimed status of Brahmins.

These are just blames, a brahmin by definition is a emodyment of pious living. After going away of krishna bharatvarsha has fallen down, their castes have fallen down. And this is by his announcement is called KALIYUG for the whole earth not only in BHARAT VARSHA.
These are all false alligation, if some people kill (hindi not bengali) brahmins of the temples(Just like muslims did) and wear their clothes and start to do evil deeds and call themselves brahmins to malign the community, it doesnt make them BRAHMINS.
Any person who is born in brahmin caste but if he eats MEAT or DRINKS LIQUOR is a fallen man he is equal to CHANDALA worse than BHANGEE AND CHAMARA.
To be a brahmin you should have never done these things in your whole life. Dharmically Brahmin can have only one wife in a life time. If she dies whole life is done for him.
His only duty is pious living, teaching whitout asking for money and living his life on ALMS begging, only one who does this is a true BRAHMIN, rest are charlatons.
In kaliyug very few people strive to live by dharma. All of INDIA is doomed on the dooms day if they keep behaving like. I will curse INDIA for its destruction, so that BHARAT VARSHA can rise again and DHARMA be established again.
BENGAL was able to be infuenced by the BRITISH because of its mean eating and LIQUOR DRINKING WAYS. So the vedic religion is fallen there.

The caste system has been created by God,therefore it must be all good and it cannot be changed.Krsna states that in the Bhagvad Gita,catur varnam maya sristam,guna,karma,bivhagasha..'.That means that an indivudual belongs to a certain caste depending on his qualities,qualifications,characteristics etc,etc.However the caste system has become degraded.For instance the son of a brahmin claims himself to be brahmin although he has all sudra qualities and vice versa.The government is trying to 'rectify'the situation by providing braminical positions to sudras and vice versa,and hence the social turmoil.The activities of the so called 'brahmins' that you mentioned were clearly not brahmins.The important thing is to know the real caste system and try to follow it,that will solve all social problems.

Wrong info. Caste sytem was not created by god!!! come out of your ignorance. There are lot of sources by which i can show you that but then there are limitations words here. Don't try to to defend brahmins and the evils within our Hinduism. I am too an upper Caste Hindu but fortunately not a Brahmin. To make Hinduism the gratest and the most dominat religion we need to do away with caste system.

YOU dont know anything about hinduism mr. patel, you can abolish it in gujrat. Caste is still the back bone and will be the back bone of indian society. It has with stood onslaught from outsiders now brahmins have to onslaught from the minorities, the low castes and the OBCs for their survival. As they have all joined americans like beggars for their dollars.
You can do what you feel like in gujart and gujrati idea of india, leave my idea of india to me Hindi heartland dont need lessons on what india means from gujratis, madrasees, marathees, bangalees, pubjaees or tamilians.
I have nothing to suggest to your tastes but please leave my heritage to me. I dont need a waywward modern secular hindu to tell me what being a hindu means.
The term HINDU is no religion, there is nothing called hinduism. The name of the religion is VARNASHRAM DHARAM it you dont know, its basis is catse.
The reason buddhism started was because it was against caste system. Hindu philosophers and buddhist philosophers debated about caste too. Finally shankaracharya defeated buddhists in BHARAT VARSHA(Which modern seculars call mistakenly INDIA, because british gave us this name).
Srilanka still is buddhist nation. Ambedkar was also a buddhist.
People who deal with flesh and liqour are called bangees or chamaras, lot of modern day brahmins or obcs will count in this.
Know your history before you say anything about so called HINDUISM(Which is actually nothing).

SOME PROMINENT BRAHMINS --
1)SHIVA (He wears a sacred thread) - Though he is above being a brahmin, brahmins wears a sacred thread, because that all eternal wears one.
Shiva created the first brahmin as Brahma. All other brahmins are mouth born progenies created by Brahma through Shiva.
2) PARUSHURAM - (WHO Destroyed ALL THE WARRIORS OF the earth 21 times over when they have become arrogant)
3) ALL THE GREAT RISHIS..
BEING a brahmin is first in your family, then in your thoughts(because your family gives you thoughts), then in you words finall in you actions.

Politicians themselves have to be blamed for Doscriminations. To gain and earn votes, they have been indulging in malpractices of giving them favours in the false pretext of helping them and thus creating adverse feelings among other communities. There must be a single policy without aiming at any community to help. The policy should be that of an income based, where if a family lives under a certain poverty level of income, irrespective of any community, needs help and should be given. Martin Luther King and Barack Obama is no symbol of inspiration to india or its elernal religion of varnashram dharam. If there has to be some inspiration, it is blacks or whites for that matter who should feel privileged to have been enlightened of the india philosophy and inculcate in their materialistic lifestyles. The entire human race is a failed species. Everyone will find something to diffrentiate each other with whether it be race, color,religion,caste, etc. etc.
Pretty soon we will all nuke each other and that will be the end of this failed race. Maybe next time evolution will create a more intelligent species.
Unity in diversity - all Indian languages should get equal respect. Hindi speakers should accept that Hindi is just another regional and not try to impose it on non-Hindi speaker. The government should back off from language and give up its linguistic engineering.

I love, respect and care my mom, at the same time I love, respect and care for all my masis (mother's sisters). I guess Hindi is a national language because of all the languages Hindi is spoken and/or understood by most people. IT's NOT DISRESPECTING ANY OTHER LANGUAGE. Language like Tamil (if I'm right) was taught by ShivJi to one of the Saint. How can it be inferior.
If there is a way to quickly teach majority a language, Sanskrit then may be we can have that as our today's national language.
One way to solve this issue (if you consider it an issue) is to promote interstate marriages.

Sapa,you are in a dream world.How would almost everyone understand Hindi? Most of us from South don't understand the Persian,Arabic,Turkish,Urdu words that is most commonly uded in Hindi along with many obliterated Sanskrit words..Do you understand that? While many of us from South understand pure Sanskrit words better than people in the North.So what language should be our National language.
Tamil is one of the earliest language s[oken in India after people started inhabiting the subcontinent.It should also be given its due respect.

You have a point. Movies have spoiled our language and hence the use of foreign words. There is an effort going on to revive Sanskrit, but it has not reached a level where it can be declare a national language.
May be you are right that many in South understand pure Sanskrit words, but I don't think if that's sufficient (communication wise).
I think every language must be respect and individual's must do their part. Language should be the unitying force and not the other way.

Tamil cannot and should not be made a national language, the state itself works on the concept of hate, hindu priests are ostracised and looked down upon, how can a state which discriminates its own kind be give respect ? I am a south indian, but i am all for Sanskrit as it is the originator of all languages, tamils already have a problem with hindi, if they have a problem with Sanskrit also , we know they have a superior complex and need to fly from cloud 9 to the ground
