Reservations should be for fixed period of time and should not go on forever. Any seats which are not filled by reserved categories should get transferred to the open category. There must not be any reservations for the jobs. Reservation should be restricted to 1 or 2 person per family.

reservation is a good step.....its a landmark verdict and will help in crreating a society on eual terms.....entire concept of merit is a farce, exclusion of creamy layer is a good step. population of OBC/ST?SC is 65% and there representation is minimal in govt jobs and educational institutes......this shouwl solve problems in next 30-40 years

In the present day, do you think the shudra are lower the upper castes ?, if you do then you must be dreaming, the OC have less money, are less educated. Let shudra's be what they want to be, let the country go to dogs, in fact i would like islamic rule to be back, that would teach most of the population a lesson and bring back law and order.

It is not clear as to how it is OK for you all. Even though I am not against reservations, it is not clear as to how these seats will be filled where more than 50-60% of the boys of SC/ST, OBCs do not get primary education. It is at this place the reservation and free education to be considered. It is just a political jimicks and would not do actually any good to OBCs.
I dont know whether its true or not but shivsena supremo mr Balassaheb thakrey once announce that, just delete last name from everybodys identity....the who;e country will be benefited.

If it were to be so simple!!!. Let the brahmana sangha invite all hindus to become brahmins or let them convert to convert to SC/ST or the most sensible which they have to do someday or the other remove caste system and say all hindus are equal! Then not only all hindus would be happy together, it can go global and be an alternative to islam, chritianity if they invite others also to join

Put Bal thackerey in the mashiwala community.. He will serve india better than currently with his separtist politics... Shiv Sena voted for proven corrupt woman just because she was a marathi.
Let's share the problem i faced in my life. Ones my teacher asked me, What's your name. I told him Sir, I am Krishna Kumar. He added next agge?? This is the mentality of so called upper caste. A person who is supposed to teach a student, he started theaching a student of class first by this manner. I came to my home asked my father about the same question. He was answerless, he just joked and let me moved. I could understand the reason a very long back after that incident.
Those who belong to upper caste, they never face such kind of humiliating acts in their life.
So please unless you can stop the caste system, don't ask for removing the reservation system. As this just is a counter weapon given to us.

Oh please for GOD sake stop these emotional blackmails. You do not have to proclaim yourself as one whose birth-right is to get insulted;and what do want to say that it is only the so called "OBC" who get insulted and we general castes who actually have become minorities live our life without any humiliations? You should be persuading the govt. in reserving seats in private schools, that way you will grow and develop youself spiritually and mentally like everybody else and do not have to cry for reservations anymore. Does it sound good to take a short cut in life at the expense of talent? What will happen if through reservations you and some of your "OBC"s get through IITs or AIIMS or IIMs? will the humiliations stop? You guys will be bullied till the last day in your institution. It is you who cry saying people insult and you hypocrits pave your own way towards humiliation. The govet. is hell bent on playing with your vote bank and you people think that it is a gesture towards you. The day the govt. feels the heat is on them they kick you back on your bloody face; then to whom are you going to turn to. People of India is progressing and at a fast pace, understand one thing talent is something which everybody earns it through his/her life and it is not hereditay.. Hence a cap on talent means barrier for country to grow. This barrier will break if not now but surely in future and then you people will remain where you are and we will proceed further. So decide your fate before i

If i stop using my surname, from where will I get my morality? Unlike you, i cannot afford to bend front of frangi culture.. We love our Indian culture, and our morality is guided by our place in society... I do not wanna struggle with my identity because it doesn't guarantee that you will still feel victimized... All is in khopra, and once you stopped being a victim, you will progress... When i went through school, i didn't dream of IIT or IIM. I didn't need to.... Only very few selected people usually on insistence of their respective families take a shot at IIT or IIM.. Brahmins more than any other community just naturally go for this big test, and that too, through their shere hard work.. Not that i am saying other communities do not do that but it take cent percent determination to take shot at.. I have never studied the make up caste of IIT or IIM because it is not my mentality to see things through caste politics... That is a business of lower castes to perpetuate their artificial victimhood to real victimhood by their very mentality.

My dear you will be reminded even, while you will go for marriage. Just tell your parents not to insist for marrying in same caste. Just be truthful to yourself and ask, if you could marry girl belonging to SC/ST. If you will say yes, you are lying. If you accept that you can't then stop adding more comments unless you are agreeing to leave from caste based society.

Its a known fact that the main reson for this quota is to divide the Hindu votes. Dividing hindu votes and banking on Muslim/Christian votes has been the formula by Congress for a long time.
Thers a rumor that saudis gave crores to congress to implement this quota. Its indeed sad that the common indians do not realize this and media misleads them as well.

Dividing Hindu votes ? How on earth ? Man, your logic defies gravity.Tusssi really great ho.
And if Saudi's could run govt policies in India by bribing the Hindu majority led politicans - then Hindu votes deserve to be divided. Don't get me wrong - whats the use of having a bunch of spineless Hindu politicans who for a couple of crores divide their own votes ? I would rather have an honest and dynamic Muslim / Sikh leader like Dr. Abdul Kalam / Dr. Manmohan Singh - people with knowledge and integrity than spineless jerks whose claim to fame is religion based.
Yaaar - its our country. ONE INDIA. And our country attained greatness in the past becoz of its cultural mosaic and tolerance of other religions. Please don't talk rubbish and bring in a conspiracy theory about Hinduism being marginalised for every goddamed problem on earth.

Boss, politicians will do whatever they can to remain in power - thats no rocket science. But to claim that Saudi govt. paid crores and our people did that to appease them is ridiculous. Come on - when the problem lies at home - look at the problem and find a way out. Don't blame a third party and money being paid to our govt. to do that. And if you see the OBC drama being enacted - its about consolidation of votes , not about dividing Hindu votes or such crap. And my point lies there - if a couple of Hindu politicians can divide the country becoz they received payment from Saudi - they have NO business to lead the country. Look at the other way - if a western country would pay a couple of billion dollars to the Saudi King or UAE Sheikh or even the sheikh of a poor country like Yemen, do you think they will pass a law to give facilities over and above their muslim brethren ? U gotta be joking on this.....So these kinda allegations are best refrained from.

I respect ur opinion, but facts are facts. Its has always been the agenda of our neighbours to marginalize hinduism as its the only major non-abrahamic religion in the world. and Congress is good at it. Sikhism is a non-abrahamic religion too, so is budhism, jainism etc. but are small and not major.

Stop killing animals and eating their flesh. Just tell this to the parents of the Brahmin girl you liked and they'll agree. May be they'll be hesitant initially but they'll agree to the marriage.
But of course, you won't give up your habits. But you want the "VICTORY" of having married a "pure" Brahmin girl with high ideals, right?
You are a fool of the most pathetic order. I'm seeing, how many times you're pointing out caste when it comes to marriage. We Brahmins only don't talk so much about caste, just about vegetarianism. You are more casteist than any casteist person I've seen!

I am not even a brahmin, but i had to check instantly if my Jaat made it to OBCs.. Thankfully, i didn't... How did Proud Jat, and Yadevs fell in the category of OBCs, i have no idea... So they want to marry a brahmin girl while indulging in habit of eating animal flesh? Why do you not first become brahmin, and sacrifice your desires in certain code, and conduct of respective caste... Muh mein daant nah, paet me aant nah, magne aiya chuma chuma...
You have your caste, marry in your caste... If there are few exceptionals, you can excercise that... Even Baniya will not let you marry his daughter with that victimhood mentality.
Gopal Krishna you are born to burn... It is perhaps time you tell us about your Jaat, so we can offer you some guidence to live by your dharma..
