its not they are puppets; it is you and me who vote them for power are puppets. Democracy makes lions puppets as the power (bought, begged, borrowed and stolen) by the politicians make them lions- though they act like clowns and puppets! Bits

And you will be forever cribbing! Actually, PM in waiting is an honest post. Not the dishonest powers excercised by Marxists like Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechury.

Dynasty and subservient bureaucrats rewarded!
by excelwin on Apr 07, 2008 07:24 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A pity that Congress is still a safe haven for extinct dynasties and subservient bureaucrats who have served the party well.
Unless Congress reverts to the pre Indira collective leadership model, it may find itself heading towards extinction.

This is the way in all democracies in case you didn'tb know. The Opposition waits for the Government to fall or lose an election so that it can form the next Government. But a Marxist can never understand this. Instead, the Marxists are doing India a favour by propping up Mdm Sonia Gandhi and Mr Rahul Gandhi.

public = bherua. you don't know. all parties are corrupt. what people can do? from sibu soren to sukhram, we only have dishonest ppl in poltics. fortunately public memory is also short. so, when they vote, they vent their ire on the incumbment party. if they don't get the chance to select as a larger block, they live in WB.

Rahul -Future PM ?
by nori murti on Apr 07, 2008 07:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a big joke of the congress Chamchas. Rahul has rejected the offer. His mother wanted him to become minister and thewn later PM. None of the congress clowns have guts to choose a good efficient Pm other than the family members of the Nehru dynasty. After the Moghul dynasty , now we are witnessing this humbug dynasty. What are the credentials of Rahul to become minister? What are his qualifications? Does he know all the states in India and their capitals. Does he know any subject those are taught in a degree level. What has he seen in the life? Does he know what the poverty is ??>
The kith and kin of DMK foolish chief( who has no respect for lord Rama) and Sharad Pawar want to get ministerial berths in the cabinet? for what reasons??Both the Andhra ministyers of the film industry have been kicked out. The CM Reddy ( Dr ?) may not like them as probably have not contributed to the money coffers of the congress underground bank?>

Rahul is as clever as his mother. Reject the office and remain the king-maker and become an extra-constitutional authority! No audit, no CAG, no CBI, no conscience too! For, power can never corrupt the extra-constituitonal authority! How wise!! Bits.

Rahul will definately make for a better extra-constitutional authority than RSS who controlled BJP and its puppet like leaders like Advanis,Rajnaths,Venkaias etc.

You seem to be one hell of a frustrated guy. Instead of talking sarcastically, be positive. Either give construtive arguments for or against any proposal or just shut-up.

M S Gill as Minister in Congress Government
by Venkatesa Prabhu on Apr 07, 2008 06:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The cat is out of the bag. Former Chief Election Commissioner M S Gill has been made a minister in UPA government. Earlier, he was elected as an MP on a Congress ticket to Rajya Sabha. Now everyone should know where his views lay and how 'non-partisan' the office he held must have been. Even though, he might not have held political affiliations then, would it not be wrong for some one retired from such constitutional positions to come into government as ministers and the like. Greed knows no borders.

As a "great" but "doormat" citizen of India, I agree with these views of Venkatesa Prabhu. CEC is the constitutional authority and the political parties have no business to corrupt them the blatat way it has been done by now? The opposition parties should waks up and correct this blatant violation of subverting the Constitution of India by such back door methods! Bits.
