Hinduism has monotheism, polytheism, pantheism, atheism. But what distuingishes an Hindu from an abrahamic follower is we believe there are different ways to god. But abrahmic religions believe their prophet's words and their god is the only one.

When Adhi Shankaracharya said "I am the god" meaning everyone is god and god is in each and everything. It cud be construed as pantheism or monotheism. Vedas is full of polytheism beliefs. Buddha was an atheist who reinterprted vedas without a central authority power called god. There are lot of hindu sages who are held in veneration for their beliefs in atheism.
google search for 'persecution hindus, wikipedia'..........and see the results of hindu persecution by muslims.....gleefully recorded by thier historians.......
maybe Israel should drop a atomic bomb and gleefully record how civilians suffered to give these sub-humans a taste of thier own medicine.......

You are confused between social evils and the religon. Religion never said to follow sati. Because of muslim marauders, sati was practices in North India where muslim attack was more. It was never practised in South India and as far as I know Maharashtra also.
In Mahabharatha and ramayana, so many widows are there. It started with evil cult coming to india which treated defeated women and children as their harem and slaves.

Because you can never explain-Raja Ram Mohan without the impact Islam left on him. Today Madarassa's are accused of promoting backwardness,but this prodigial son of a Brahmn father studied in this so called Madarrsa in Patna and learnt Arabic so much so that he later wrote a book called Tuhfat-ul-Muwahhidin (Gifts of Monotheism) -in Arabic in which he preached unity of God.
