RE:Kanndas people foolish but arrogant

Hi Shiv, Agreeing with you. These foolish guys should be stopped however. This is high time. They must be stopped and given a fitting reply. Patience does not mean in-ability!!
it is very sad that every time we are having fights between states. Maharashtra is notyet over, now again TN and Karnataka have started. This is all political tricks. please understand. We alll are only Indian. do not divide yourself in states.
I do not undestand why people are fighting. it is shame that we are fighting for water. water is natural resource and all have right on it. how can we drink water leaving others thirsty. whatever we have we should share with our brothers. i do not think it is ethical that we are restricting water with ourselves when our other brothers also need it. if we stop thinking in state boundries and consider ourself as Indian only, we will understand the point.
and here i could read lots of messages which shows hatred between two states. I am from UP, have stayed in Chennai for four years and now married to kannadiga family. i hate calling anyone by their statesname but here i have to writelike this. first we should stop criticising each other on the basis of culture and way of living. if we find something wrong we should point out in healthy manner, and not insult someone. i agree with some of the points life in Chennai but not fully. it is true that acceptance is less in chennai people. they believe too much in groupism. its really difficult to manage to stay in chennai if you not from tamilnadu. However i love chennai and have lots of very good tamilian friends. but in beginning it was really difficult for me. not just be

but in beginning it was really difficult for me. not just because of language but because of attitude towards non tamilians. but i could find that people are really helpful and simple. they will really help you in all your aspects but will not include in their group. i remember when i came to chennai, i did not know any place in chennai. i used to aks the bus routes and exact location and i found people who litterally dropped me to the right placees many times. in beginning i was afraid taking anyone's help, as you knwo girl from UP and Delhi will be. but later i realizzed that girls are really safer there and i can believe them. but in offices whever i worked their was kind of alienation. people used to talk only in tamil, wnt include you in their discussion. i never mind because all like to talk mostly in their mothertongue, but whenever i used to ask them to please translate to me also, they used to say better you learn tamil. i did not had any problem in learning tamil. i tried to cath the language and after some time i was able to understand the language and even started talikng in toota foota. i know it was very difficult to mingle with them. you have to put your ego on backburner. but all people can't do like this. i had other friends from other parts of India who really put down the hands. it really took time to win their hearts. but still they used to maintain some distance. but i was lucky to get few friends who were totally opposite form the crowd and loved me lik

but i was lucky to get few friends who were totally opposite form the crowd and loved me like anything. We became very close friends and still are. they used to disscuss their affairs, family matters and office problems with me. actually its really your luck to get good friends anywhere which makes your opinion. i still miss those days and miss my friends. i really loved my stay in chennai because there i could learn lots of things. i could explore how i can manage with people and can make them friend.however it took lots of hard work. first one year was horrible. but if you think all are our brothers and we cannot live without them all problems are over.
and after marriage i came to bangalore. and i should really appreciate people here. its true people here have more acceptance. If i go anywhere and try to speak in kannada theyknow i do not know propr kannada, they will answer in hindi that too very lovingly. even autodrivers. and in family also that too kannada brahmins, all have accepted me like anything. they love me so much not only my immediate inlaws but other far relatives too. whenever i go for their functions, they will call me for everything, they will explain every custom and will translate each and evrything they talk even in big group. i never felt sidelined. i never needed to ask them to translate for me. now i understand kannada. and they are not arrogant also. so it wrong if some one says that people in karnataka are not of mingling nature.

so please do not fight with each other. your staes will not grow if your country is lacking behind or your brothers in your neighbour are suffering. we have take all together. do not listento these stupid politicians. and share all the reasuorces with all. and being Indians you should know that if you share, nature gives you more. and one more my Spiritual guru told is if you close doorsfor others, you are not restricting him but you are restricting yourself by imprisioning yourself. so do not close your doors for others, otherwise it will only imprision you.
hope we all understand it . please forgive me if i have hurted anyone unknowingly.

It is indeed shameful to have riots for water instead of right of water to all.All in the name of politics,we common people are getting divided which again is advantageous to dirty politicians.Maharashtra problem is sitting on fire and now Karanataka/TN problem flowing in water. It is definetely going to end in civil war in India.Politicians, instead of concentrating on the development of the country, these politicians are concentrating on the destruction of the country. On one side we have prices above headlevel and on the other side we have these stupid problems.Has any politicians tasted the difficulties of a common man facing day by day.Our FM,thought to be wise, our PM thought to be genious, but what is their use to the country.Papaji sitting quietly with the nuclear issue with no solution. To be very true,India needs a dictator for few years till the system is streamlined.Har admi apne hisaab se chalta hai.Ghar se baahar nikalte he anyay ki duniya ka nazara shuru ho jata hai.Every single moment is a struggle for Indians. We are not living,we are struggling to live.Is it the true democracy.A very nice slogan MERA BHARAT MAHAAN,the guy must be laughing at it whoever must have thought of it. Let us just request all to be calm and not get carried away by these politicians.

You are an idiot. I think you should be a pakistani who intentionally trying to divide the country(india) by way of language, religion etc. Your day dream will never happen. There is no tamil, kannadiga and i can see only india upfront.
A lot of people are commenting in this forum that rediff should not publish such articles as it incites hatred among people. The same people came here and vere venting their venom against maharashtrians. Now when the foot in on the other boot, reality bites everyone. At the end of the day we Indians are hypocrites.
i don't understand in the below messages everybody attacking lungi worn by tamilians alone....it is a common dress for all men of southindia...whats irking others...comfortable dress made of cotton....better than night dress invented....in day time lungi will be replaced by dhoti...don't tease abt wearing lungi....even in middleeast rich people of different origin wears lungi !!!!

Hari, I think even our father of nation, when he live in a cool place wear the same wasti costume. I dont understand, being an indian why we talk bad abt ourselves. The entire world will laugh at us. We are indians and not tamilians, kannadians, marathians etc., No language, religion, caste can split us.

Dhoti is a traditional dress and if people are comfortable wearing it, they can, wherever it is .. you don't have tease about it.. Btw what do you know about Tamil culture??? please try to respect others feeling also if possible ...
there are always questions about the integrity of Tamils in this country. And I found this foroum is no exception. I can give you few lists about the partiotic sense of Tamils. 1.In the last two wars against pak the government requested people to donate money to refill the coffers, both times Tamil nadu was the state which sent most money to the GOI. 2. In 1969 Tamils were attacked in maharastra, in 1989 Tamils were attacked and their proprties were ransacked in karntaka, both the times the Tamils were attacked in thousands. In Karnataka Tamils being targeted routinely. But never that happened in TN. Mother tounge of former chief minister Annadurai is Telugu, mother tongue of MGR is Malayalam and jayalalitha belongs to Karnataka, when Tamils are openly embracing the people of other states, they are recognized as traitors and separatists. And I can find people here who can call me as traitor rather recognizing my patriotism. So now tell, who is a traitor? A patriot? Or the one who calls a patriot as a traitor?

Kannadigas add jaggery and onion to everything. These ragi muddhas do not understand anything. They act and then think. So it makes not sense taking to this kannada tribe
