Karuna's hypocrisy is proved by his denying the Ram of the great Tamil mahakavi Kambar but erecting a statue for Kannagi on the marina beach who was wrote about by another Tamil mahakavi. Not a single mega project was successfully completed by the DMK under its rule, be it stinking Coovum cleaning project, Veeranam drinking water project meant to benefit Chennai but looted most of public money. They have been coming to power by distribution of cheap gifts with goverment money to poor people just before elections. My dear brothren, keep exposing and fighting. But no extremism please.That is the greatest virtue of India.Let us keep it.

Fatwa issued by the VHP leader RamVilas Vedanti is against basic principles of Hinduism. As a true Hindu I am ashamed of such a Fatwa.It is against the law of the land and a barbarian act. Do u love India? Sethusamudram project is not opposed by LK Advani or others. It is the adamant attitude of the looters who want to dredge out the bridge(Adam's bridge )that is objected to. There are four other alternatives to execute the project. This is what the Supreme court has asked the Govt. and the Govt is considering the suggestions. Meantime, the senile fellow has indulged his usual diatribe against Rama. The same fellow banned Da Vinci code because some Christian priests objected to it. The madras hight court struck it down and then it was screened. Varghese should have penned Love India song at that time. Best thing is wait for the Supreme Oourt verdict later and till then all shut their mouths. Karunanidhi is now indulging in damage control exercise thru his daughter. Perhaps Sonia Gandhi has decided to show the door to his ministers. I appreciate her for her silent action all thru this issue.

Oh It's not that MuKa and Baalu love Sethusamudram. They want to make money, nothing unusual for a politician. But in the process they are clear about hurting hindus, and also to divert attention from other on-going projects: national quadrilateral (Baalu took over from Khanduri), numerous projects announced in a rush before TN elections are all in stagnant phase, MRTS project extension to Velachery (3 Kms) has taken 7 years with all DMK central ministers,OMR road (initiated by Jaya) is now at snail's pace, port modernization, Chennai airport which is third busy one, is the only one in top 5 that is not being modernized...I can think of numerous non-controversial development projects that call for desperate attention, but MuKa and Baalu want to project SS canal only to divert attention from these.
