Oh It's not that MuKa and Baalu love Sethusamudram. They want to make money, nothing unusual for a politician. But in the process they are clear about hurting hindus, and also to divert attention from other on-going projects: national quadrilateral (Baalu took over from Khanduri), numerous projects announced in a rush before TN elections are all in stagnant phase, MRTS project extension to Velachery (3 Kms) has taken 7 years with all DMK central ministers,OMR road (initiated by Jaya) is now at snail's pace, port modernization, Chennai airport which is third busy one, is the only one in top 5 that is not being modernized...I can think of numerous non-controversial development projects that call for desperate attention, but MuKa and Baalu want to project SS canal only to divert attention from these.
