Second it supported India during the Indo Pak war ( You wouldn't be knowing America had sent its seven fleet in the Indian Ocean to support Pakistan.... At that Time Russia was on the side of India which at least caused the US to just support by giving weapons , tanks to pakistan rather than giving active support.. Yes the Americans have just brought a lot of bussiness into India .. but it is because this is the World Market . They have to sell their products.. Americans can betray but they did not betray NATO countries , Israel ever though often they get no equal support. If we stand for universal values we have no risk. Those like Taliban, Pak are situational friends and times do change!

India is not a member of NATO.. As for Israel it is just another Jewish (Christian Country)... See the fact that after World War II all the Christian Countries have got United ( US, Canada , UK and other European Countries)... they have no fight with any of their neighbouring countries.. Of course they are fighting but far from their motherland.. We are fighting inside as well as on border with pakistan.. Understand that difference.

India's place is not with fundamentalist Iran with a leader that is waiting for some imaginary Mahdi to usher us into an Islamic age..that sort of theatrical madressa logic shouldnt impress modern Indians. India place is in the Labs of Harvard, Princeton, Yale etc..its entrepreneurs should walk in Silicon valley California, not some holy city of Qom listening to dictates of mullahs breathing fire & brimstone. The US may have changed policies, well in global politics friends change..US & Germany, & Japan fought wars, but are now friends...at least there is scope for rational behavior and dialog..on the other hand mullahs go to war for centuries...India dont belong there..India with its Hindu wisdom should seek to change the world.
When we got our Independence in 1947, we also got a country in our neighourhood called Pakistan. Well if our friendship with Russia was wrong as many of commmentor are saying here. THan Pakistan should have been the Best and devoleped country by now. Because from day one they had Friendship with America.

Abbas to be honest, real honest. Pakistans economy was doing lot better than India even until mid 70s. Pakistan's problem is not frienship with America but the fact that Pak could be messed up despite support from US..Thank the thick headed Pak military for that, and yes Islam as well. It is Islamism that killed the cat in Pakistan and an overdose of it came during Ziaul Haq..this moron single handedly took Pakistan to the middle ages. Ayub Khan inflicted the death blow to Pakistan, Yahya Khan dismembered it and tore it up with his genocide of Bengalis (mostly Hindus), and Ziaul Haq did the janaza...Musharaff will probably hve to bury it. America had no hand in it. It is only because US buys cars that Japan sells them and make money. India shold do the same.

Abbas, India is developed because of its willingness to be developed and not because of any support from Russia or any other country. We Indians have worked really hard to reach this level. Had Pakistanis would have taken the same route, they would have also reached similar level but there system runs on three A's (Allah, Army, America) which is barring them to make any progress. See if you cheat in exams, you can just be a passout but if you do work hard and study (apart from taking and sharing notes with fellow friends, who also gain while sharing), you can be a topper. Hope i was able to make you understand why Pakistan is not at par with India

During the time Indians were working hard.. Pakistan was busy producing their own copies for terrorists and developing Nuclear Weapons..
The result is : India today has everything and has to decide what it has to with it ... Pakistan is left with a lot of population ( terrorists) and doesn't knows what to do with them.

Some stupied Indian do not understand Chinese treat from east and importance of merger of Tibet in India. China is highly interested in Indian teritory. Our Gods are basically from Tibet (Kailash). Our holy river (Brahamputra) orginates from Tibet. China is illegally occupied Tibet. India can regain Tibet only with the help of NATO countries.

Hi the one must understand the truth that everybody wants to be friend of the rich. Secondly An US relationship does not cause the relationship with Russia for Russia is limited member of the NATO(it became in 2002) and china already enjoys a good relationship with US. These nations fear India US relations cause India is Democracy and a freedom respecting regime. So only we got a better nuclear deal than china has got.
