hi, r these relevations abt hinduism really true...its unbelievable...but to quite some extent..true. No wonder they call India as the cradle of life....
After my study I found the Technical Feasibility and Economic Analysis of this Project prepared by National Environmental Engineering Research Nehru Marg, Nagpur - 440 020. is full of cooked up figures to get 9% return. Threat from LTTE cannot be ruled out. What is the use of pumping crores of money on this project? Instead, Govt should increase the capacity of the power station. Construction of a Refinery, a Mini Steel plant, a good hospital and develop the Rameswram area as a tourist spot by providing under- sea- viewing equipments and ships to see Marine Bioreserve and develop one of the best aquariums in the world along with the National Marine Park to attract tourists. Let me explain Hinduism to you first: The essence of Vedas say "Ekam Sat, Vipra Bahuda Vadanti" - The truth or God is one, wise men call it by different names. We call it Brahman - The supreme Being. To know the unknown, we represent it by idols. Hindus know that whatever God they pray, it reaches the ultimate. That's why we are secular by blood. That's the reason we go to church, consider allah as god too. A pond can be reached by four different steps leading to it. All paths lead to the same pond. The followers of this Dharma (Sanatan Dharma - Eternal concept) were worldwide. The aborigines of Australia still worship a God called Siva who has a third eye and is smeared with ashes. Who else can it be?
Now kaliyug starts: It is said :'KALOU KALMASHA CHITHTHAANAM' meaning 'In Kaliyuga all minds are impure'. New religion starts springing up. What Jesus said is lost and the saints come up with 99% of the bible (Have you read the Red-letter bible?) to erase the Sanatan Dharma and come up with just one religion, one path and one god. They say all other Gods are fake, all paths are false, only God Jesus exists (Is he God or Son of God??). The same goes with Muslims. The problem starts when each one says there is only one God and that is my God.
That;s the reason we have Crusades, 9-11 etc etc. No Hindu killed any other person to convert him to follow Hindu gods. Because as I said, they respect other Gods by nature of their preachings and from birth.

THIS BIGGEST STRENGTH OF HINDUS IS THEIR BIGGEST WEAKNESS. No chritian or muslim is secular, if they are then they cease to be christian/muslim as it goes against their preachings. They name others as Heathens/Pagans/Kafirs.
I am talking now to christian converts, the earlier Hindu : Please understand the concepts of Hindusim. If you have any doubts, clarify it from Gurus who are experts in the field. Or read from Books. Guess you are a tamilian. If so, read "Artham ulla Hindu matham" by the great lyricist Kannadasan (earlier atheist, became theist). And then think of converting to other religion. Read what Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi have to say of conversions. They hated it intensely. Changing religion is like changing your mother. Can you ever think of such a thing?
Now dont start typing in haste and out of impulse all your Hindu bashing statements. I am neither a Hindu, RSS, VHP , Bajrang Dal guy. I am a Christian. But, I would rather call myself a Sanathanin. Follower of Eternal Dharma. Follower of Vedas. The true Knowledge.

Here is where you fall in a ditch...
"To know the unknown, we represent it by idols." How do you know that my inserting your imagination you are coming closer to God. Why can't your IMAGINATION be wrong.
I am NOT against Hinduism. It maybe a work from GOD just like the Torah, or the Bible of the Quran. But over the centuries, people have diluted that message with their own imagination and Idols. These forms and shapes are so Human like, because they are imaginations.
If anyone is a Hindu, I suggest you that they stick to the Vedas. Ramayan and Mahabharat have a lot of human imagination involved.
We tend to believe what we see, feel or touch. There is no leap of faith in that. Same thing with the Christians. They have become Idol worshippers. How do they know that Jesus was a blue eyed, blond hair white man. It is all their imagination.
We need to remove our imagination and not dilute the message of God.
Muslims split Bharat into 2. Atheists wanted to split up TN. Christians want to split North East. Communists want to balkanise Bharat. I am ashamed to call myself a christian which has destroyed all the native cultures. And muslims are even worse. Any sane Christian or Muslim or Communist or Atheist, please think for a moment. We cannot let our religious folks destroy the last of the greatest civilizations of the world. We have to come out in the open and protest with our Hindu brothers. It's of no use sitting in our bedroom thinking about the plight of our Hindu brothers. I know we constitute a very miniscule proportion of our non-hindu community to think like this. But better late than never. Arise, Awake, Friends of Hindus. Lets' throw away the likes of Sonia, Yechury, Karunanidhi, Zakir Naik out of Bharat. Rss, Vhp will not be needed in Bharat then. Everyone will be happy. Remember it is Bharat which has supported all the persecuted in times of distress. This is the holiest of all lands. Let's protect it from Vatican and Saudi waar mongers.
How can the HIndu-Nazis claim the natural formation of Shoals under the sea as the bridge build their god ram to save his abducted wife with the help of monkeys who happen to be the ancestors of the south Indians, what kind of crap religion is this???
Yes the government would not deny that the Hindu god rams wife Sita was abducted by Ravan , Raped and taken away in one day and Ram had to build a bridge with the help of monkeys.
I have been hearing about Sethusamudram Project for the last two years. Whenever Govt. or private companies initiate a project there will be opposition from all corners, particularly about land acquisition and environment etc. In this case it is not land acquisition, but religious sentiment that has become a major factor. But no one wants to talk about real issues. To know the real issues one should know the difference between Govt & Private projects. Private companies initiate projects only after a realistic study particularly about economic viability of the project because their priority is profit and they cannot afford to undertake any project which is likely to bring in loss. Contrast this to Govt projects where the politicians are not worried about profit but are interested only in political mileage by publicizing the benefits of the project and under-playing the disadvantages. Most of the Govt. projects are not economically viable, but due to political pressure, figures are manipulated to make it %u2018appear%u2019 viable.
In the light of the above, I made an attempt to study the controversial SSCP to know how far it is economically viable. Luckily I got all the necessary documents from the SSCP web site and other related websites. Technical Feasibility and Economic Analysis of a Project & Tender Documents are the most important documents.
