True. I wish that happens. The Lankans are anyway angry at us as their coutry is ruled by deamons(Ravana and Co) in our mythology and they end up on the loosing side in the battle.

Ganga is the most sacred river for Hindus. Take a look at its condition today.
BJP is always in the limelight as far as 'Ram' struggle is concerned. They were in power for more than 5 years and there is still no temple in Ayodhya.
Not sure how many of us even make it a point to visit the Ram Setu in our lifetime? We all tend to call ourselves Hindus only when there is a controversy. This is very much similar to the fake patriotism that comes out in Cricket matches. No one ever holds the tri-color flag with pride but for the cricket matches.

I appreciate Tarun Vijay for his well corroborated account and its sad that Hindus are cought on their own land in this situation. There cant be a greater damage to unity & security of this country than this attempt by the Govt to hurt the sentiments of the majority Hindu community. The minorities should realize that these appeasements & reservations to them by Politicians are indeed detrimental to their welfare in the long run for it will only widen the gap and encourage the feelings of disharmony between all sections of society.

Does people or centre know about the famous Bhakta Ramadasu (1620 -80) of Andhra pradesh? When he was in jail, it is known and shown that Rama, Lakshmana came as warriors, met nawab and gave 6 lakh gold coins with Rama's seal on it.
Go and read Wikipedia on Badrachalam and Baktha RAmadasu.

The nawab himself witnessed this and said Allah is Ram and Ram is Allah. Still two of the gold coins taken as token of respect by ramadasu is seen in the temple. Is this miracle which took place only 300 years before not enough for the anti-rama guys to see that Ram truly exists in our heart?

In Maduranthakam villlage of Tamilnadu also Ram and Lakshman saved a lake when it was raining heavily and there was a danger that the lake may breach. Col. Leonal palace a Britisher saw two warriors in the night gaurding the lake. By Ram's grace rain also stopped and the village was saved.
So Ram of Maduranthakam is called ERI Kaththa Ramar ( Rama who saved the lake) as a thanks giving measure the British officer built the shrine of Sita Devi in the temple. Let these athesiists come and witness the shrine then they will realise Rama in them.

The BJP act is against national unity. They might unite all Ram Bhakts through this but others are going to be massively angry including Tamilians. I have known a lot of tamilians ( non-brahmins ) very closely and they have no patience for Hindu , Hindi and Hindustan ideology. And if things get hot - they will not hesitate to take help of their brethern south of Adam's bridge.

By the way, if you were to raise this issue in Tamilnadu, they would have skinned you. This issue is very dear to rest of India, But in TN neither Hindi nor Hinduism rules. Would you prefer to see independent nation states or dependent states in this union called "India" ? Then it is necessary to look at issues inclusively. One cannot exclude opinion of an entire state. India is not just North/west India...there is a south and East to it. Imagine a situation where we are faced with demands for independent nation states...will any of your arguments work?
