It is triumph of hindu activism
by vijayraghav on Sep 15, 2007 02:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All said and done the affidavit hs been withdrawn.. and in itself is a triumph for hindus. The BJP/VHP could have their flaws, but then it is because they raised the issue, this could be achieved..

This is the first step in the right direction.

It is the wisdom of Sonia to have withdrawn it before some monkeys of right wing use it as an issue of votebank politics. The nation is safe as long as some from the Gandhi family remains the conscience keeper else politician hingry for power will take over by exploiting caste, religion or language differences and impose their ones.

Ram existed, but it is much before animals like you walked this earth. civilisations got built and destroyed many times after that and therefore not much of direct evidence exist.. Ram it is that taught responsibility, accountability, perfection much before anyone else. You are an idiot to deny Ram. If you do not know of hinduism, just keep your mouth shut... else you are instigating and you are asking for trouble.. Your religion is the most hated in the world.. First get your perspectives right before commenting on any other

Time to fight for Dharma has come
by colonelrajan srinivas on Sep 15, 2007 02:51 PM  Permalink

For more than 800 millions of Hindus in India and millions of Hindus outside India throughout the world the RAMA SETHU BRIDGE is as holy and as sacred as the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to the Jews, the Vatican in Rome to the Roman Catholics, the Bodh Gaya in Bihar to theBuddhists and Mecca in Saudi Arabia to the Muslims.History and historical records indicate that the land mass in the form of a Bridge connecting Dhanushkoti to Talai Mannar, known as Ram Sethu or Ramar Bridge,AdiSethu, Nala Sethu has existed for centuries from times immemorial. One such historical record is the Ramanathapuram District Gazetteer in Tamil published by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in 1972;with a %u2018Forward%u2019 dated 14 Jun 1972 by Dr Kalaignar M Karunanidhi,in which the Hon%u2019ble Chief Minister has said,%u201CTo those Policy makers,Scholars & Public interested in ascertaining authentic & reliable information, this district-wise gazetteer has been compiled as an encyclopedic reference'.And it is in this very gazetteer that it is mentioned, %u201CAdams bridge is also referred to as RAMA SETHU or ADI SETHU. The bridge is 15.5 miles east of Rameshwaram. This is called Ramar Palam because this bridge was built under the leadership of Hanuman and with the participation of Vaanara Sena and facilitated the crossing by Rama to reach Sri Lanka and to attain victory. Upto 1480 AD, this bridge had served as a land bridge to Sri Lanka.Centuries ago it was proclaimed that, "Be Yee Men of Valour and Be in Readiness for War! For it is b

COKE AND PEPSI.....
by Manish Gupta on Sep 15, 2007 02:48 PM  Permalink

Looking the the world today it seems that the main agenda is religious supremacy rather the devlopment. AlQueda has alerted people of US to convert or face dire consequences. What US is doing is need not to be explained. Lets take one example from globalisation....COKE and Pepsi were always arched rivals worldwide, they can do anything in terms of business tectics to capture the world and increase thier market share. When they stepped in India the first thing they did was killed Parle Drinks and all other local products. Reason is simple unless they do that they can't expand. You can now fit the same formula in regious expansion. The stage is set with COKE and PEPSI represeting two biggest religion, and Hinduism is the Local products of India.....;)

Scientic Proof of Ram's existance
by A Singh on Sep 15, 2007 02:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I may be ignorant, but can one of the more intelligent ones supply a scientific evidence to prove that Gandhi did exist.

You can produce photographs and videos, but the sceptics will keep doubting someone marauding as Gandhi.
