i dare the congress to show the proof of jesus christ's existence. there's zero proof for even western people to show that. but does anyone question that ? does anyone need to hurt the religion ? do we have to go out of the way to hurt any particular religion ? YES! we have congress to do it!

If it did not then Congress would have lost all the seats miserably in all the states and favoured BJP. Let us unite to kick out congress in all future elections that are conducted in this country be it gram panchayat or for that matter any election that Congress contests.
How dare a christian lady consent to this kind of an affidavit. If there is no Lord Ram it means that there are no Hindus in this country. Can anything be done to woo the minorities of this country??

I never voted to congress in my life except once in panchayath as the other person was rough and congi person was good.
I have been a history student myself and I completely endorse the views of ASI. Lets accept the truth. These politicians have got nothing to do except taking leverage out of the public's emotions. One day there will be an affidavit, the other day they will withdraw it, instead of doing some constructive work.They waste the time and thereby money of the exchequer instead of doing some constructive work. Damn this politicians!!! Whether UPA or NDA sab ek hi thali ke chatte batte hain.

Hi, History may not show the details of other than this Yug (Kaliyug). And Lord RAM does not belong to Kaliyug. Hence, how do you find the details of Lord RAM in the History? You need to know more than history to understand Lord RAM.

If yes, prove it. Lack of evidence does not imply that somebody does not exist.

i just cant understand, if somebody make some objection to such activities of the so called secular party, those people are lebelled as communal force etc. etc.
every time the UPA govt is in a mood to appease the muslims and bash Hindus.
now i think enough is enough by the congress govt.and people should teach them a lesson soon.
Who are they to scientifically find out whether Ram existed or not. Its a belief, just like how people believe that X party will do something good for the country. If they dont believe in Ramayana, then why believe in Bagavat Gita, and use it in the courts.
I am sure no one can scientifically prove the existence of any religion for that matter.

It was a very stupid decision to file this affidavit. Matters of faith should not be subject to such senseless semantics. Even if the sethu is a natural formation, for Hindus who form over 80% of the Indian population, it is associated with Lord Ram. Rather than adopt a confrontationist approach, the government should try to find a via media by dredging the deepest parts of the straits, leaving much of the natoral formation undisturbed.
Whether the project itself is a good idea, is a different matter altogether!
It is a very cowardly act on the part of the government. The Affidavit filed by ASI said that the existance of Lord Rama cannot be HISTORICALLY proved. The affidavit never questioned the existance of Rama in flesh and blood.
Through deductions (sort of circumstantial evidence !!) we all know that King Rama did exist. Otherwise, there wouldnt have been Ramayana. However deductions are not something that ASI can offer in an Affidavit to the Court !
If the govt. is stooping down for majority appeasement, just imagine how much they would stoop (or crawl) for minority appeasement.
the existance and evidence of lord rama was felt in the form of series of earthquakes in sumatra and tsunami warning to tamil nadu is a warning to tamilians to stop the sethusamudram work or else whole tamil nadu will be washed away in upcoming tsunami....
